Morning,
Just getting my routine going.
made a fire, tea, left overs, emails,
And watched a few bushcraft videos..

Guitar is next, but thought Id write as I was sipping my tea...

Thinking about gear junkies, and all the grear thats been left behind in my life... Some thru misfortune.. Other stuff because I got things I liked better etc...

Misfortune has been the worst factor. And its been invariably linked to the affects of other humans on me, via my naive nature, and how humans really are..

The older I get, the more I realize the dichotomy that is the human animal..

I also realize that keeping one's materialism minimal promotes mobility.. That the less I own, the easier it is to leave bad situations..

And if I were more contempory, Id limit what I owned to my vehicle's ability to transport it in one trip....

Having no vehicle, im kind of lost between worlds, from what I can pack on my back, to what I can maybe get some help moving with someone else's pickup etc...

I notice that I invariably have too much stuff, and always want more...

And that others seem to have the mental affliction even worse than I do...

So I try to at least think about my materialism in its order of priority in a refugee situation..

That a crisis is also another method of shedding excess stuff..

I went thru a nasty divorce, and another failed longer term relationship..  Both times, what I owned got reduced drastically.. But looking back, I see that I should have gotten rid of much more than I lost being processed..

I think the easy cure, would be to run a fairly constant yard sale.. Or just to constantly try to give things away...

The problem is that its really too easy to get stuff..  All you have to do is some slavery..

So theres a balance point somewhere between going along with the game,  and getting free of it...

A lot of my excess materialism is from trying to improve what I have. One ends up still holding onto the lesser items and it builds up over time...

Another curse, is good deals.. Sucked into plenty of excess materialism via that route..

I suspect if one survives the collapse, wars, plagues etc.. That there will be so much materialism around that it wont be much of an issue for awhile..

People will raid houses with desicated corpses in them for what ever they want to pack off..

And its not a sure thing that I or you wont be one of the corpses..

Especially if we try to stay on our hoard when wisdom dictates otherwise..

Which is why Im looking forward to some up coming give away opportunities in my life..

And why if I can I will improve my transportation situation....

And now when I buy things, mobility factor is most often a  criteria...

Anyway, wanted who ever who happens to read this to think about materialism versus mobility.. And that in whats coming, what you can get for yourself may be worse than what you can keep from getting...

Afternoon, looks like the afternoon wet season rain soon..

Watched some bush craft videos this morning, I find they put me in a good frame of mind...

Sad the educational system seems to be turning out people who have problems speaking now..

But what should one expect? 12 years to learn what one could learn in less than half that time if system was really effective...

Surely another sign of the slide into collapse?

I see a lot of people really going overboard on gear, paying way too much for stuff because their vanity really doesnt know whats practical..

Small axes over $100, knives at $200 and up..

But they think the more they spend, the better they are...

I see it different; that if they really knew their stuff, theyd know a cheaper axe with good temper will do everything their spendy one will..

Except brag...

And I find I like making knives and other gear better than buying them..

Id think a bush craft type with top quality gear was impressive, if he wasnt making house payments..

Id rate them more, by time in the brush than cost of gear...

Its an old syndrome Ive written about before, guys using purchases because its all they can do. Tied into the system by the gonads...

My advice, is to think of the word "decent" and go for a balanced life..

Get decent quality tools, thats all you really need, and the more you can make yourself the better.. The more you buy, the less you learn, the more you spend, the less you know...

And if you arent actually working your way out of the system, your chances of surviving its demise are small..

No doubt there will be hundreds of thousands of $100 axes, rusting, radio active, and with charred handles in the rubble because their Mommy wouldnt let them get out in time...

The Chernobyl videos on you tube are eye opening..

I wouldnt live within a hundred miles of a nuke anything..

The nearest nuke target to me is about 6 hours driving time..

Almost far enough...

Just had lightning hit close, flash and bang at same time, so within 50 yards or so...

Not uncommon.. Likes the springs and creeks on my mountain... I dont go to the spring in thunder storms..

More lightning here than any place Ive ever seen.. Takes out a lot of cattle and horses...

Its hitting all around me now.. But Im likely OK, springs above me..

Have been experimenting lately with bees wax on steel tools.. To prevent rust.. I like it...

One knife I did buy was a paratroopers hook bladed pocket knife.. For use as s refugee grains harvesting knife..

Paid $6... Locals didnt know what it was..

Im keeping an eye on the Iran thing..
Once, nearly 40 years ago, I came into a port, Simbawang Singapore, and there was an Iranian Destroyer in the berth ahead of ours...

It was an old WW2 British Destroyer by its lines and guns...

It had extra weapons added everywhere.. And the Ship was immaculate.. The quarter deck watch was armed with sub machine guns..

They looked like a bad news military..

So I dont think Id bad mouth them.

Its the meanest dog that bites the hardest...

Anyway, I see a bunch of gadget head survivalist types...

Rescue whistle heads...

Only use I could think of for whistles, is so everyone could converge on the Federal building at the same time..

I have a whistle, but consider that its for signaling friends who've separated for some logical reason, or for sounding an alarm...

And its a metal whistle..

Plastic tends to be temporary stuff...

One thing Ive learned about materialism, is getting too much stuff is easy, getting the right stuff is hard.. And the right stuff is invariably the most practical for the job, not the most expensive, or the most advertised, nor what everyone else is buying...

It can only be learned via experience.. Which means the less practical items you try along the way should be given to those behind you on the learning curve..

I find desire to be a really bad vice...

Its incredibly powerful..
So I try to only desire the right stuff...

It takes a lot to get me to want something now..

Morning...

A pretty one..

Worked on my heavy cord net bag for my back pack project. Practiced guitar, and checked out online for anything in the way of news that Im interested in, which isnt much these days...

I dont like politics, period...

And if I still lived in the US its unlikely Id bother wasting the time or gas to go vote for choice of puppet sleaze bags..

More likely Id be just concentrating my efforts on getting out of the system.

Which seems to be now becoming at least the male thing to do..

What one learns living outside of the system, is that its vastly preferable..

I dont believe in government anymore, no more than I believe in anarchy.. Neither works for the people nor for me..

Its much better that I focus on what I can do to improve my own life outside of the money system..

One of my realizations over time, has been that guys who support the system are just screwing themselves on all levels..

I recently did a you tube tour of people living in vans and off grid..

25% of kids in the US now live in poverty, social spending is about to be drastically cut, and the rich are getting wealthier by the second..

It aint right...

And it aint going to get fixed short of a civil war, and thats really sad...

Politics has become dysfunctional..

And what we are running out of is time...

I notice that the majority of people into bush craft, living in Vans, and off the grid, on you tube, are males...

They will discover the same things I did...

That not having a wife is a serious form of freedom once you get over the losses..

Some guys are opting out voluntarily, others being disenfranchised by job loss followed by divorce..

All will figure out the system didnt work for them..

The numbers will steadily increase as the collapse progresses...

I noticed a new phrase in the american lexicon; guerrilla gardening etc.

I see that as a good sign.. That people are starting to think about growing food anywhere possible..

Ive written about the same concept for years in blogs...

That mobility is critical, and land ownership has become arbitrary..

Who owns the planet?

I think whats going to happen is an exodus from the system, mostly by males at first.. There are reportedly 100 million single males on the planet.. A small few are just starting to figure out that being out of the system can work better for a guy than being in it..

One learns to minimize wants, one learns to become self sufficient. One learns that the old life really sucked bad..

Basically the trend of this part of the century is going to be out system..

From now until the collapse or the nuclear war..

Then it will accelerate rapidly..

The system is the problem..

The system supports women at male expense, with no return benefits..

And the only way to stop that is male liberation being a move outside of it..

I have nothing against a good woman.. But I dont know if enough exist to bother thinking about..

Ive spent several years on date sites, at first with hope, and eventually as a personal psychological study of women....

What Ive learned has been a real eye opener..

That basically women are vanity heads and comfort freaks who think males owe them a living on one level or another, and that they can treat us any way they wish and get away with it...

So my advice to males, is work towards the exits...

Wife or no..

And if she's a bubble head, your divorce is only a matter of time anyway, best be getting your brush rat existence booted as best possible any way you can in preparation. Because her mindset is likely to be divorce when you lose your job anyway...

True love we should call that...

What I notice is even women who say they want out of the system, really want to have their cake and eat it too..

Living in the countryside is fine, if it includes a nice house, a nice car, and a nice plastic card...

Basically they think the life boat needs to be as plush as the staterooms on the Titanic....

What they are in effect saying, is they want you to work a job and support the system, and also grow them food..

Well, not likely you can do both satisfactorily, as the economy goes into the shitter...

To do that requires mechanization, ie just another dependency on the system...

I suggest you work on your lifeboat instead, and know there will be plenty of women to choose from, when the ship goes down... Just pick the one you want out of the cold water...

When that happens, they will be a lot more humble about choice of life boats...

And the guys who kept women happy, will suddenly be looking over the edge of the cliff...

This morning as I worked on my pack sack project, I was thinking about the Australian national anthem, Waltzing Matilda... Its about a man gone walkabout.. Matilda is his ruck sack, and he's camping by a billibong, read; water hole...

Its a nice vignette, a guy camping... Free... And the analogy is that freedom for men is not having a woman...

Very true...

The only thing worse than not having a woman, is having the wrong woman..

And I doubt there are many right women...

The right type would have their priorities straight...

Mate before vanity and comfort...

You and her against the world, not her and the world against you...

The women on farms in China committing suicide tells the
Story...

Having enough to eat isnt good enough for them..

Poverty is a state of mind...

Its a result of wanting more than you can get, instead of doing what you can, to get what you actually need...

Ive lived humble for years...

What I figured out, is the battle is to learn not to want more than you can practically do...

And i found out that real happiness comes from fundamentals like having a warm dry place to sleep, and something to eat every day, and being free of the system....

Everything else is a vanity...

Its raining as I write.. Im eating hot bread, Im warm and dry..

And now days, I mostly use stuff from the system to reduce my need of the system... Gardening tools, crafts projects that better my life, or better my preparedness for whats coming..

And I seem to have an overage on all levels..

I need to stash a few more clothes, get a box of files, stock up on some simple medicines etc... But basically Im there...

The system could crash tomorrow and Id never miss a meal...

I give food away almost every week, and tons rot on the ground..

Not good enough for the Babylon babes...

I am free!

Free at last, free at last! Thank God, Im free at last!

And thats what the guys who give up on the system will figure out, that after they quit crying, life gets so much better, especially without a woman hounding you because she aint getting rich quick enough...

Well, Im not designed to be an enrichment device..

Im designed to survive and maybe help a woman feed some kids...

Been there, done that, got zero appreciation...

So here I am free...

And this morning I got my net bag's bottom finished, and next stint will see me coming up the sides. Its to go on a wooden pack board frame, so I can carry anything I need to...

Built to last a life time...

Its nominally for my refugee/bug out stuff.. I check in on civilization via the web, and it gives me constant incentive to work on my projects to get ready for the demise of human civilization...

Pretty obvious whats happening, the slide into the abyss, and hillary and Obongo arent going to save me, theyre too busy saving their bankster and Wall Street buddies...

Anyway, looks like people are figuring it out, some at least...

Its gonna be ugly! Glad I have nothing behind me except miles of jungle....

The jungle is my home now, has been for years...

This morning as I was writing an email, a skink jumped on my back.. I knew what it was instantly, heavier than a tree frog plop or a leaping lizard hit...

They dont fear me, Im not crazy anymore like the rest if the humans...

Enough years out of the system to see it for what it is....

Afternoon, going to see if this still works? Its been a couple of months.

Well, have kept busy online, mostly on you tube watching videos on various subjects that relate to future survival.. Doesnt look good, world going down hill rapidly these days....

I think its an attitude problem... Everybody with a big ME! Monster..

Watched a video on deception detection, presenter stated that in american big business, fraud is now 7% of total output...

Gee? I wonder if the judicial system only starts working at 15% or something? Whats a trillion dollars in fraud? Isnt fraud like a hate speach topic? Cant bad mouth the fascists, either Corporate or Government, because theyre gay guys and gals in bed with each other..

So its not politically correct to point out their fraud, or that the legal system isnt working either..

Guess we need a Haliburton justice contract for a godzillion dollars to lobby for our inalienable rights, that have been totally alienated from us....

Its a terminal culture.. A rotting at the core empire of slum lords and robber barons... Down to the very professional pickpockets of IRS avenue....

Its all fake, america was aborted shortly after birth...

But the we are all wonderful march goes on....

And everybody with their favorite propagandist.... Whats you favorite flavor of lies? Politics, Religion, science? Social networks? The Press? Its getting to the point the National Enquirer is more truthful than what presidents say...

Well, there will be dues to pay for decadence... Glad Im a worthless brush rat, might survive it...

The trick will be getting into the brush deeper before the Nazis come round...

Most will be there to answer the door.. How convenient!!

Thursday 7th of June 2012...

Thursday 7th of June 2012...

Morning, home alone, on another tropical day..

Im thinking to do some petty cleaning and organizing in the shelter today.
Have food basically made.. And nothing much to do.. Needing to go down to the village to pay on my phone card, but figure it will wait until the weekend when I grnerally go, so Im without internet a couple three days, after spending plenty of time watching you tube videos of bushcraft, alien, and war stuff..

In my quest toward preparedness..

Have been learning a lot, watched an old government film on the Russian front, called "why we fight"...

It was all old WW2 footage. And gave one a pretty good concept of what went on. That there are always psychopaths running governments who start wars and kill off millions of people, for no reason more than their own ego trips...

As long as common folk believe the lies and get herded into such wars, there is absolute zero hope for humanity..

And the US is six months from elections, and will decide which psychopath to have push them to slaughter..

I doubt it will matter..

In the interim, I see it as grace time to prepare..

I dont need much... Can easily get by on what I have going now..

One of the things Ive learned from the old war films, is that in such times, one's mobility is key, and that youd better stay out of towns...

War is a polite name for mutual genocide instigated by status quo for any reason at all..

You can tell when its starting by the lies... When they start wars with lies, its a quick down hill trip into absolute hell...

What the films didnt show was people getting shot for not fighting..

Showed them getting shot for every other excuse...

Basically war is mass psychosis.. And if you dont go along with the group think, they kill you..

Its pretty much a Lemming run, with the cliffs replaced by teams and weapons, and when it dwindles out, it starts over for the next cycle...

Building, growing, producing population.. Until the next era of Elite blood sport...

Its greed powered.. The Maniacs want each other's resources.. Land, minerals, oil, slaves...

And light on the numbers of slaves.. Just enough to make up losses...

One could imagine a steriotypical war; two countries, two status quos, and two distinct populations..

When its all over, theres one status quo, one country, and two classes of slaves; high slaves, and low slaves...

And about half the overall original populations...

They could have left each other alone, and been much better off...

The proper response to incitement to war, is to have a firing squad for those doing the lying...

Wave at your neighbors across the line doing the same, and go back to normal affairs of life...

What fuels wars is stupid followers...
What starts them is liars..

Anyway, only safe place is where ever humans dont go...

Much better off hiding in swamps and mountains than hanging out in villages waiting to be exterminated..

Ive lived in the brush about 25 years now, and what I have learned, is its preferrable.. Even on a good day in civilisation, and certainly when insanity comes in the form of patriotism....

Who cares who wins a war? Whats important is as many surviving it as possible. Meaning the perfect war is on liars... Reguardless of side....

Anyway, looks like war criminals for presidents and war criminal wannabees. Only one real cantidate, and he got purposely ignored by the media...

And the rest are absolute sleaze..

Political wind socks for the corporations... Democracy is dead..

And civilization soon to follow...

You think youre going to survive a nuke war? By using atomic bomb era civil defense with hydrogen bombs in the tens of thousands? Civilisation will soon be the word that describes vast crater fields connected by ghost freeways...

And the areas between the craters owned by cockroaches..

Thats victory and democracy, freedom, and liberty... When theres nobody left to be stupid...

I think its going to go exactly like JC said, a near extinction event, with extinction only prevented by alien intervention..

War of the Beast...

So, I dont need much in the way of materialism to run off into the brush...

Meaning my days as a consumer are dwindling fast..

From now on its fine tuning what I have going.. As the choke point ahead, is as a refugee from a dying planet..

Will I make it that far? Doubtful, but its the reality.. Chances of humanity becoming enlightened are near zero..

Survival and subsistence.

Survival and subsistence.

Well, I havent blogged here for a few months, went thru problems with phones and had to sit out on the virtual side lines, and then started doing some blogging on another site and theme..

But here I am, back finally...

And plenty to talk about..

Have been able to finally get some time online from my own sitting spot, without having to hike for signal, or go rent a computer..

Slowly I have been exploring what most of the rest of you have had for years...

I stumbled onto the bushcraft videos on you tube, and its my favorite place. And I hope to do some videos of my own...

Another site I like is Russia today, and am happy with their more realistic news content..

And are showing Hillary and Barrak the finger puppets as they really are; a sick parody of decent government..

And the quest to grasp the magnitude of the war crimes of their predicessors continues.. From Bush to Blair..

Its a nasty, nasty status quo, the Nazis would be envious..

Barrak is playing Hitler and Hillary is Goering?

Ive got no use for any of them, nor would want their bodies burried on my farm after their firing squads, surely demonic spirits...

Also happy to see online that people are figuring out and desemenating the Genesis six and Enoch connections between JC and Extra Terrestrials..

Wont get far on main stream, but real humans dont watch that shinola..

Anyway, have spent plenty of time researching different things, and see that the Status Quo is forcing Iran into arming up and towards nukes, while pretending to be preventing them from getting nukes..

Which I think they have every right to have..

Might be good for humanity if properly used? They could use tactical nukes on wall street, city of London, Pennsilvainia Ave. the Pentagon, and the Capitol building, maybe the Fed, and IRS, and the average american would consider it the best favor we'd ever gotten since france helped us fight the Brits..

It doesnt take long on line to figure out we're deeper into trouble than one could possibly ever imagine watching main stream sheep dip news..

The good news these days is 2000 years old; that JC said there will be a few survivors...

Anyway, Im enjoying the bushcraft zone, thats where my village is..
And have learned quite a bit, and hoping to be able to teach there too..

I discover that after so many years as a full time brush rat, that Im a world class brush rat, and only lack a bit of help before I can do videos, and post...

What Ive learned about human nature and help, is that its more rare than one realizes, and if you get ANY, best appreciate it fully..

So, Ill get on you tube when I can.. Hopefully sooner rather than later, or at least far enough ahead of the collapse to help some people..

I wouldnt bet on it though.. Getting an hour's help from anyone these days, is like asking the impossible..

Everybody is so busy filling their sack...

G!

March 27th2012...

March 27th2012...

Morning,
Worked on a liner for the shard knife sheath out of cutting board plastic.
Learned some things about working with the material..
Thinking about doing a nylon cover for the plastic liner..

Have been experimenting with the cutting board plastic fairly long term.. Will likely use it for other refugee kit items...

Have been thinking past couple of days about doing a steel Marlin spike. Would prefer stainless, but materials not available to me. So thinking to use some tool steel from either a crow bar or drift punch...

I have a brass pipe fitting to make a nice ornamental cap, and have figured i can grind a step into the end of the tool steel bar, and use my electric drill to turn it, as i use my angle head grinder to taper etc...

And get a nice professional job of the project.. Might have to make a tool for cleaning out the threads in the pipe fitting. Maybe buy a wood bit and re shape it..

Thinking to do one about ten inches overall, to match my bushcraft knife.
Which I also made with a sailors uses in mind.. The tip fairly wide for use as a spoon like eating device.. Back of blade for scraping and scaling..

I think a Marlin spike would be a good possession in a refugee situation..

Likely would find all kinds of uses for it..

And I do tend to work with line often..

I see my quest as making all the fundamental stuff up that one would need post technocult.. Some things are on hold for materials, but I keep gnawing at it all..

Been having fun on a date site..

Kind of pathetic really.. They want their rumps kissed... Ive been writing crit instead.. I figured out the game long ago..

Saw some stuff last town trip Id like to pick up, one item was another kid's shovel, but a flat scoop type.. Probably designed for city people with dogs or something..

I was thinking it would be nicer for my fire pit ashes. Than the spade type kids shovel I got awhile back, and would double as a dust pan etc..

Probably gone when I get back to it, story of my life. Not like I need it or anything, but it did look like a handy down sized tool..

And I seem to be collecting a few of those.. Foxhole digging equipment..
Or tunneling? I cringe thinking about those folk in Belarus digging a 24 inch tunnel for hundreds of meters... Thats just big enough for an average adult to squeeze through.. And would be hell to work in..

But i guess if you know the Nazis are going to shoot you sooner or later, doesnt hurt to try a run for it..

The Ray Mears video Belarus on you tube is required watching for any survivalist wannabee with a brain...

You want to know what FEMA camps are likely to evolve into, and what your only alternative is...

Personally one hopes that one avoids such.... And thats what the refugee gear is all about, avoiding problems.. That when problems come looking for you, you arent there..

I got out of the US to avoid problems.. Saw things starting to go over the edge of the cliff..

I think its the moments before the last hand hold gives way at this point..

The most sensitive types have already left, or in process..

Morning,
Sipping tea, fire going, awaiting dawn..

Went over a couple days ago to visit family in Buruca Indian reserve. It's one of my favorite places. Collected a few rocks, was looking for chert, but no signs of such in the sands of Rio Changuena, but I did find a couple cool specimens, one iron pirite crystals in a vein, another perhaps molibnium crystals in a gray stone.
And I got a couple hunks of really hard and fine grained basalt. Tried the basalt when I got home for sparking, and it does spark, but don't think I'd want to have to light a fire with the stuff unless I had gas or something.

Also got some tree seeds, Teak, Guanacaste, something else that animals can eat the seeds of, and a tree that covers the ground in Kapok like fluff.

I used the kapok stuff to demonstrate a misch metal stick to the Indians, they were blown away, got really excited.. Also showed them my mini fire piston but didn't take lube, so couldn't do a good demonstration...

The motor was evidently on the fritz for the fiberglass panga, so I got to cross the river in a large dugout paddled by an Indian to get across the Terraba, I was happy.. Prefer the more primitive experiences...

Was fun to show the Indians bushcraft stuff, and my bushcraft knife, one wanted me to make and sell him one, I refused, but told him I'd teach him if he wanted.. That was too much for him, Decadent Indian! Gone white, wants to use money instead of making something he wanted..

So, I will get the tree seeds into a nursery bed soon, and hopefully get one of the fluff trees going, it lit really good from spark. Would be nice to have going on the farm, for when the shit hits the fan, just gather and bag the stuff, and be able to light fire with flint and steel all year..

Would also make good stuffing for beds or pillows etc. pretty cushy stuff, not a lot of mechanical strength, but a bush crafter could make nice bedding with it..

Perhaps it would felt, and you could do a blanket?

I made a mini digging bar recently out of a small crowbar, hacksawed off the hooked end, and forged out a flat wide end, and ground a point on the other, got the idea from a Ray Mears video, on you tube, was a downsized version of one some aboriginal used for digging for roots and water.
Finding it to be a very handy little tool.

Have other stuff to dig roots, and still have water in the spring,
But I like the tool and it's sized to go into my refugee gear tool kit...

When I was at the Panama border a week plus ago, saw a new type of kids shovel, a flat scooping blade, thinking about getting one to use to clean my fire pit ashes out with.. Looked like a handy mate to the other round nose I got awhile back..

Was funny bringing the round nose home, everybody asked me why I bought it, told them a camping shovel..

I've been surprised at how much I use it. Way handy for whatever small hole.

Suspect it will get used more than any shovel I have. Minimalistic things are like that, small things get used more than big ones..

What I am learning overall, is that if one heads for a minimalistic neoindigenous lifestyle there are a lot of dividends, wouldn't want a real house now, definitely will be happier in a yurt/tipi cross, less bullshit, regular houses require a lot of labor to maintain..

So I find not having a refrigerator or bathroom to clean to be a liberating thing..

Basically people buy stuff because they think they need what's normal, and over look the simpler cheaper options...

And the banks, building departments, and construction companies make a lot of money, people enslaved for a lifetime of payments just because they can't think outside the box...

I wouldn't even consider it now. I know better.. Although it took being poor to break me out of the mental paradigm...

Better a poor man in a tropical paradise, than a rich man in a cold climate city..

And that's something the bush crafter types need to figure out. That they have options that would allow their skills to be turned into a lifestyle that liberated them permanently from the rat race...

And would also improve their chances of survival by thousands of times in WW3....

I wouldn't want to have to try to stay warm and fed in a cold climate after the collapse.. Would be really hard.. Don't think you'd live to be very old just due to the stresses...

But here, I can buy stuff that gives me everything I need, and do it on a micro budget..

The trick is in realizing what you don't need.. And figuring out the incredible power of minimalism...

If you don't like the technocult and being a trapped rat. Buying a hunk of land someplace sunny and warm and setting it up to live simple is the preferred option...

Doesn't take much land, 5 acres will grow all the food you need, and land in the brush is still cheap. Third world county outback is very affordable to anyone with a job in the first world.. What's key, is in not having too much... 5 acres, a shack, well, and solar panel, and call it home, plant food trees on about half, garden and grow staples on the other half. Forever free.. And all for the price of a new econo car... Everything...

I'm collecting parts to put my mountain bike back together, then going to get a little 49cc motor on it.. Will be fine transportation in the tropics, and no need of all the bureaucratic crap... Would Lilly cost me more to get a drivers license, pay registration, insurance, etc. than the motor will cost, and you don't move a foot for the money, and it just feeds the beast government...

I live in a runt country, the size of a large county in Oregon. I can go anywhere in the country on a motorized bike in a day...

Camp, do what ever, and motor home...

What would I need a car for?

The truth is this; you're most likely trapped in the first world by some woman...

There are women here, fairly reasonable.. Ten dollars gets you laid anywhere in the third world..

So it doesn't make much sense to be a slave in the rat race for some slimy hole with a total bitch around it..

They're way over priced.. All they want is a lifetime slave to fulfill their every vanity and to treat like shit while saying they love you...

Wake up fool...

Get rid of her, live cheap for a year or two, and collect some tools and bug out before the shit hits instead of after...

A guy doesn't need much, can live fine gardening year round...

Let the bitch support her own vanity.

She thinks all she needs to survive is a victim.. Let that not be you...

If you get into subsistence, and have a shack and a garden going, some third world woman will decide that's better than going hungry or living with her parents...

And is probably better looking than an over fed white woman anyway...

March 15, 2012.....

March 15, 2012.....

Well home alone and happy about it..
Nice day, about 85f
I'm cooking, will eat in a half hour.
Balmy breeze. And the monkeys came this morning..
Have six with baby's now.

Worked on a project yesterday and this morning;
A downsized version of the Aussie abo digging bar in the Ray Mears video.. I bought a small crowbar for $3, and then hacksawed off the curved end and then forged out the other end flat and wider, then a point on the south end...

Turned out pretty cool, a non descript little tool..

Looks handy for whatever...

Have been searching info on chert here in Costa Rica, trying to find some close to home...

Transportation is an issue, would take me a long day each way to go up to the Nicoya where there are deposits, so the searching online for geologic info...

Have been playing on a survivalist date site this last week, fun, but no results...

I doubt they liked what I had to say...

American women. Generally spoiled and conceited....

Not my problem, and I have women hitting on me here that are younger and better looking..

But, I dont respond well, not interested in problems, and have figured out that the price is way too high for their services...

General theme seems they just want to get fat and be nasty to someone trying to be decent to them..

Don't need any of that..

Much happier alone than being twiddled with..

Many mention work.. I think they just want a slave with gonads they can emotionally castrate..

I'm happier doing my own hobbies, than I would be with some woman providing a list of things she wanted done, tapping her foot, and creating a toxic emotional ambient to emotionally blackmail me into some bleep she wanted to feed her body fat or tickle her vanity...

Basically what has happened, is each generation has upped expectations, to the point it's all insane..

They don't seem to be able to fathom that some guy in a tropical paradise who's got acres of food trees and plants, is as good or better than some guy with an iffy job in a rotten climate, who thinks freeze dried food and lots of ammo is real security...

They won't figure it out until north Korea uses tactical nukes on the west coast nuclear power plants, and the whole US becomes permanently uninhabitable in 48 hours...

Playing survivalist and actually using your head are two different things...

They want their cake, and eat it too..

Gotta have all the money and vanity trips, and try to feel secure at the same time....

Dues to pay on that one... Most of them, even the preppers would be dead meat if there's a nuclear war..

Look at it this way; hundreds of millions killed in WW2, and 3/4's of the planet only read about it in the papers..

Nobody invaded Belize...

Not enough there to fight about..

What it all boils down to, is the most important thing in what's coming is location..

And the closer you are to money, the less your chances...

I think the US is going to get totally trashed. much of it will look like the face of the moon.

And the rest will be so radio active, the Roaches will stay warm, if they make it thru the nuclear winter.

the place is likely to be burnt, crushed, and extremely toxic...

So I really don't see it as worth hanging out up there for the right to pay taxes..

I got an email from a friend recently, he did the math and figured out that if he works overtime, it raises his tax rate to the point he's working for free...

That must be where the saying the land of the free came from?

Universal cotton picker ism?

Most are still fat dumb and happy.
But they've never been free a day in their life.

And things are starting to rust up and crumble...

A city where there might have been Twenty homeless people on the street now has a couple hundred.

And thousands bunched up two or three families to a house..

And the rich getting richer faster than ever.

So it's obvious where it's all heading..

Hell is too good of a description...

Anyway, I couldn't live like that.

I'm fine at maybe one twentieth the cash flow...

Anyway, got a few small items in town...
Several were survival related stuff...

And I always see a few items for next trip... I really don't have interest in most of the stuff for sale these days...

If it isn't self sufficieny related I'm not into it. And even then I'm looking for downsized or minimalistic stuff...

On the digging bar, I already have one that weighs ten pounds or so, wanted something that would fit into a pack or duffle. That I could use with hand tools in the garden if I ran into a small Rock etc.

Friday, March 2nd, 2012

Afternoon...

Finally got my communications back up and running. Now using a 3G iPhone hooked to a solar panel...

Have been busy doing projects, and also checking out the bushcraft zone online..

I did a couple of fire pistons, and a couple of knives, and rehandled my double bitt axe with a Cortesa handle I made.

I also did a border crossing into Panama, And got some UV resist greenhouse plastic for my shelter roof,
And I got a few items of other materialism since I last did blog entry...

One item I got was a kid's shovel.
Only to find that a lot of bushcraft types are coming to the same conclusion; that a decent kids shovel is better than a heavy & clunky folding E-tool.

Also I see Ray Mears stated a machete is the number one survival tool. Something I have realized for some time.

I also found and bought a couple downsized 22 inch and a 24 inch rula style machetes in Panama....

One has been sharpened and camo painted via rattle can.

The others will follow suit.

I really like the 22 inch rula for a carrying machete... It's not for clearing large areas, but it is nice for small jobs, and especially for crafts where the shorter blade is easier to control while hacking on and shaping wood items...

I've been enjoying surfing the web from my own camp cot.. For the first time I don't have to take a hike to get signal. And everything works. And I am starting to learn the iPhone and the web...

Have mostly been watching bushcraft videos, and analyzing the social movement I see going on there.

I watched Ray Mears Belarus series, on you tube, and it was the most right in thing I have seen in years....

Message being; you can't trust the system to be there for you, and sooner or later you can count on it being against you in a seriously sick way...

I sent the link out to several people.

Anyway, wanted to make an entry, and get back into blogging.

G!
