30-12-2011......

Afternoon,
its been awhile since I could get online,  but I just got loaned an apple Ifone, which I need to get programmed, and then I will
be able to resume blogging etc.  so I should be back up within a week or two....

we have started the dry season here,  about time!  living in a rain forest is nice, but one tires of constant daily rains...

also I should soon be  able to send fotos etc. to post on this blog sites archives, and make it more interesting....

well, sounds like things arent getting any better in the US etc.  and  world war three coming over the horizon at us...

I have been working on some bushcraft projects,  did a small knife using only hand tools,  with a sheath,  both together cost less than $10......

anyway, just wanted to leave a note here about soon being  back up online on a daily basis...  hope to be writing blog again soon..  take care folks!

21/11/2011

morning,

in town, and have access online..

Have been searching alot of things, from bushcraft skills, to archeology sites...

on the bushcraft skills, I see alot of mistakes,  and after having lived  some 20 plus years in the brush, the last 16 full time and no day job,
I was able to spot some things..

first on my mind, is people carrying things in manners they can be lost,  I see alot of that,  in a survival situation, expedient access to most items,
is not more important than trying not to lose them...  hachets slipped into the outsides of packs, that arent lashed securely are as good as lost after any time
traveling through brush...  nor would I leave a lanyard hanging out to pull an item out of a pocket with, unless that lanyard was tied to the pack etc...

I also see alot of price gouging, $400 rucksacks, and $300 small knives... my suggestion is make it yourself....
use the money saved for further upgrades in tools etc..

another thing I notice, is no one seems to be thinking about what if the survival situation is open ended?  having bushcraft tools is really just a start...

I wouldnt want to live without a full sized axe,  or full sized cooking gear, or a brace and bitt, and alot of other things, tools for agriculture etc.....

brushcraft is good to know, it is good to have a collection of fundamental and smaller tools,  but there comes a time one might like to do more than live under a lean-to shelter, and look for bugs...

And that next step is something I have been thinking about for years...  and is part of what got me thinking in neoindigenous terms..

so what do you do as a post collapse refugee? hang out in the lean-to, or start using ambient resources to improve your life one step at a time?

I notice the archeologists have missed some logic, they have our ansestors mixing daub for plastering housing in pits doing heavy labor...

meanwhile a few feet away in the animal yard, the cattle have been doing the same mix of clay, manure, straw, hair, etc., all year long...

what would you do? spend days mixing up special daub in large quantities, or just go mine the barnyard?

see how scientists are?

I have also been researching hillforts, and have learned alot... like that they were a predominant lifestyle for much of humanity for thousands of years, and that the ditches were up to 30 feet deep and straight sided, what we see today is muchly filled in...

what that means, is the defenses of the inhabitants were much better than we might imagine.. allowing for a life not requiring taxation to support a force of doughnut eaters in patrol cars...  basically our early ansestors could have done rotating watches,  and everyone could have slept safer than in an urban city in the technocult...

I suspect from what I have seen, that stone and iron age humans had a better life than modern man has in real terms, community instead of vanity...

I also watched some homeless community videos...  and heard people discussing the same things I have realized getting out of the techno cult... truth is universal...

now on towards my point;  when do camp improvements using ambient resources change into community or faamily farmsteads, and how do you get there?

well this is why I was searching the hillforts and archetecture of prehistoric times, to see if what I have thought about was correct...  that one would begin building with stone and clay mortar, poles and split rails, and some sort of thatch or split shingles... and one would build food storage granarys etc..

my point being, that if you are just thinking to bushcraft, and stopping there,  you are losing the opportunity to have a longer range plan.. and if your tools dont include pickhoes, wheelbarrows, axes, etc. you may have to rediscover how your stone age relatives did things minus the cheap and available now tools...

I see the past as a mine of skills and knowlege for the future and what is coming....

and in fact, given the time and opportunity I will head that direction,  just as I have been doing without really knowing it...

if I have some luck in economics, good chance I will turn it into decent housing etc.  but limit myself to neoindigenous,  ie build with stone etc., and also work towards simple fortification at every opportunity...

I also ran into a foto searching images; german hill forts, of one that had been used as a missile launching test site, and had been heavily bombed by the allies..
to little effect... while a fancy castle would have been rubbled...

so its the earthworks fortifications that could be just a starting point for one's landscaping,  could help protect you and yours even from serious destruction, not to mention raiders who are at the present time arrogant reality denyers....

so I make a suggestion; that you think about what I am saying, do some searching yourself, and at least get a concept of what it should look like, so you know how to get there...

personally, if I can, I will use modern machinery to do major amounts of excavation... and in the interim,  any dirt work I do will head the direction I now can envision very clearly....

its a fun hobby being a  prepper type,  and gives me an opportunity to be creative... not to mention live outside of the modern credit slavery paradigm...

and if I am wrong about the future, at least I have had fun, and if I am right, at least I will be well prepared and maybe even able to thrive and help others...

I also searched stone age agriculture videos and watched a few... and learned some things...

Anyway, what I seem to have personally, is a now rare level of experience living in the brush, and that most of the popular experts are either holding down day jobs, or are rich kid types doing things they get to go back to the upscale life from afterwards...

both of those groups have taught me things, but I think I could teach them alot also...

personally I would never consider a permanent day job,  or a ranch style house, or make myself a slave of my own materialistic desires....

nor join up with a woman who thought I should go there for her...

anyway, my point is, that people need to combine the bushcraft, stone age landscaping and construction, agriculture, and homelessness into a unified concept, and not hang out in one form of Babylon or another until too late...

16/11/11

morning,

staying in town at the moment, for a few days, playing stand in father..

for a bunch of girls who havnt had a good example of male influence..
making progress, but its slow and difficult..  but I do know how to get results...

anyway, have been learning the ropes some on line,  watching you tube videos in my areas of interests, and learning what the norm is on planet..

I see that there are alot of people getting into minimalistic camping, called "bushcraft",  and its got a community going, thats international in scope and non racial etc.
People are learning skills.. making their own gear, and doing it with one of the desired criteria being low cost...

and then going out into the woods and mountains to learn and practice there...

after which they report on line to others...  this is really important and good..  even city people are involved, and working on gear and projects in their appartments,  and then finding their local wild
areas for the putting in practice part...   sure alot better than watching TV 24 hours a day, and thinking life is being rich enough to dance all the time...

truth is, primitive cultures have more and better liesure time...

I have been showing the girls and their mother things online, and getting them to grasp that its fun to camp out, work in the garden, and make things that are pretty and useful with their own hands...

My girlfriend got really excited watching some of the bushcraft videos, gardening stuff etc...

freedom is in the hills and deserts and wild places...

and she instantly realized that I was way ahead of the curve, and she wants to start doing videos for you tube of the stuff I do, and the skills and  concepts I have to teach...

So I am using the internet as a resource to aid in reprogramming a small tribe of females,  and getting them out into the brush, in a culture where women never camp...

Part of why it works well, is they see its fun and not something abnormal.. that the rest of the world does it...

these last few days, have been teaching them how to do yeast breads in the casa..  and that they can have ten times more bread for the same money, as buying it in the corner store.. and also that is twice the nutrition of rice...

got one daughter making a batch of bread alone today, they went thru five pounds yesterday...  she's jazzed, because she got to take bread to school last night, that she made herself..

it created a bit of a stir..

as home bread making is a lost art in this culture of tortillas...   people buy all their breads, and think you have to go to school or something to be able to bake....

So it was quite the shock for all the teachers and students to try home made yeast breads...  also the boughten breads here tend to be dry and tasteless, and mostly air..

so fresh yeast bread got their attention...

anyway, shes doing fine on her bread alone today...  likely be baking this afternoon, and have hot bread for mom when she comes home from work...

and the girls do love the bread...  its not an everyday thing, in a house with 5 females living off one third world income....
also I have an objective,  that when I take them into the brush, that they already have a repretoir of skills...  my guess is theyll burn some bread learning to cook over wood fires...

I also will start doing some projects in front of them, making outdoor gear etc. here in town...  they will like that.. seeing me turn available resources into pretty things with serious utility value..

I am also thinking of projects that I can do videos of, I see some things that are missing in the bushcraft video world....

and I really want to do my best to assist the city people types to learn and do...

this is important in whats coming...   and when the shit hits, they will set off with their packs, whistling a tune, happy they dont have to be slaves anymore...

anyway, the best info is searched at the word bushcraft...  and there one can learn that you dont need or want snob camping gear..

so anyway, Im feeling good, see some hope for more people...

its like I told an indigenous friend in front of a bunch of latins, that when the shit hit,  from then on, we were all going to be indigenous....
it got some shocked looks from the Ticos, as they think indigenous people are second class humans and treat them accordingly....

so, it will make my job alot easier to rewild some girls...  the videos are breaking down their culturally induced resistances...

anyway, if you want to survive, and or are tired of playing your unpleasant part in the white slavery reality..  work on your gear and skills,  and go try them out... start small, a couple days in the brush, play with your hobby,  and get really good, so when the collapse comes, you can help others....

have a good day, and look forward to becoming a better human..

25/10/2011

morning,

in town, will be heading back into the brush tomorrow..
looking forward to the tranquility and being able to do my things..

also packing some survival loot from the technocult..  a few items...
will be nice to have the plastic buckets..   thinking to start buying plastic tool boxes next trip to Panama,
want to get things as organized as possible, so I can have more breathing room in my shelter..

one thing at a time relentlessly working towards my preparedness goals..

and will start working on stuff to build a fire piston,  and be able to light fires on days too cloudy for a lens, or even at night..
will be fun to play around with, and learn the skills, and work on some new habits, keeping dry tinder etc.. will take me a big step farther from reliance on the technocult,  with something that will fit into my refugee kit...

thinking I have a long 3/8's stainless bolt in my stash, to use for the piston, will have to wait a couple of weeks until next town trip, to look for some copper tubing to fit, and an O ring..  then  will make a wooden shaft to fit the tube into..  also thinking to do a brass wire bail as a keeper for the plunger, and will do some kind of lanyard attachment point for the whole device..  I like to tie my survival stuff as much as possible to the bags etc..  so it doesnt get lost in a tumble.. or fall out of a pocket..

when I can find the stuff, will likely make several smaller units,  and scatter them around in things like my bow quiver, maybe do a downsized version to go on key chain... so that the chances of having one at any given time are increased..

I have a stainless can for tinder..  will likely put the charred cloth into a plastic bag inside of it, due to the ambient humidity of the rain forest..
in the smaller kits use a plastic bottle perhaps.. here one has to be very careful keeping things dry, even the bakelite handles of kitchen knives will grow fungus...

as do the rubber handles on tools etc..

also hoping to afford more nylon cord next month, to do some more heavy duty net bags, and to work on my wooden back back frame..  for lacing, and doing a net bag, so I can just stuff things into it..

tired of busted zippers on packs.. they look good but last a year at most of regular use..
Im afraid alot of survivalist types are going  be hauling their stuff in their bedraggled sleeping bags in short order...

fast downhill trip on yuppie gear..

well, I need to go take a bath, and put more bread in the oven, likely a couple weeks until next blog posting....

have a good day who ever you are..

18/10/2011

Afternoon,
in town,  just did a border cross a few days ago...

still having probs with the infection,  but using hexoclorophene for mouth wash.... and has stopped most of it...

anyway, have been teaching a small tribe of girls how to bake yeast breads and today cinnamon rolls..  people who had never had a real cinnamon roll in their lives.....

Have been doing alot of searching on line for small scale agriculture machinery,  we are about to boot the farm considerably in the next couple years, with first priority being food security for ourselves,  and survival food stashes,  and after that use the excesses as a business...

the business model is a two sided thing...  with an eye to whats coming...

why not?  better than holding down a job and being afraid to leave it.....

and the cinnamon rolls are part of the plan....  soon to be selling in a market thats never tried them...  might do OK eh?

also bought a few items in Panama,  found 22 inch rula style machetes, not available in costa rica...

nice size for gardening...

I was reading awhile back online and ran into a thread on swords versus machetes as weapons...  guys, survival heads,  arguing over which is better..

Well,  let me say this about that:   swords quit evolving much maybe a hundred years ago..  made obsolete by the revolver etc...

Or did they?   if you search rula machetes, or try imacasa.com  you can see images of a rather strange machete virtually unknown in the US market...
it has a narrow blade,  and comes in lengths up to 28 inches....   if you study the images, and you have any background in swords,  you will realize its basically a backsword...  differences being a wider blade...  the blade is also thinner...   basically this IS the continued evolution of the sword..  improvements in spring steel manufacture allowed the use of much  thinner stock,  i.e. a much faster lighter sword...  and the width of blade does nothing to hurt its effectiveness..

the sword operates on the physics principle of the inclined plane or wedge...  the thinner the wedge,  the sharper it can be...

so a sword thats say a 16th of an inch thick,  can cut much more effectively than one an eighth thick...   it can also travel thru the air much faster, and is lighter and takes less muscle to wield...  basically a guy with a rula could cut a man with a heavier sword to shreds...   with little chance of being blocked as with heavier slower blades...  due to blade being able to move faster than the human eye can follow...

I wouldnt even consider a historic sword in comparison...

and here in central america, you can buy the rulas for $5 or less any where theres a hardware store....

the steel is hard enough that it will just barely file...

and its flexible enough you can bend it as far as you dare....  its serious spring steel, not some immitation "stuff" from india, that wont hold an edge like it will hold a bend....

Ive used alot of machete steel..  its good stuff...  very seldom break them.. even cutting serious tropical hardwoods...   and the locals use them on larger trees, I have seen latins cut down trees over two feet thru, with machetes, with the blade "ribboning" between strokes due to its flexiblility...

try that with your immitation historic sword....

basically what it amounts to, is the rula is the height to date for a slashing sword.  and after you use them down a bit they tend to get very pointy...

they are also ubiquitous...   dont elicit much notice...   and if you want to practice,  just find a brush patch in need of clean up....

reason I mention this, is I realized something about the bible and swords...  lets assume I am correct on my overview, book of Enoch etc...
basically the aliens running the test,  are of some kind of militaristic culture,  i.e. Jehova of Arimies.....

OK,  Jesus said if you dont have a sword to sell your robe and get one...  strange statement for the prince of peace..

but recently heard a passage that might explain some...   in the bible,  old testament I think, and it was that  the last of the reptoids were going to be finished off with the sword..

connect this to the cutting of necks in the book of enoch....   ie it answers the question I have had about it being done with expedient pocket knives, or swords, axes, etc....   and considering the descriptions of depth of blood from the event being up to a horses bridle,  it would take alot of swords, and I wondered if the aliens were going to supply swords or box cutters or something, as the way its written in Enoch, they are going to order the suvivors they like to cut the necks of those who fail the final tests, ie did you do anything for those at the very bottom of the pile of greedy self centered humanity..   JC himself explains this one, and that the losers will be led off to be cut off into eternal darkness...  connect with Enoch..

anyway on towards my point;  that JC is sked to be appointed ViceRoy of this planet,  comander in chief big time,  rule with an Iron rod, and all that..

so all the Christains who read the sword passage and think it justifys an AK-47 or an AR clone,  may in fact be considered to be disobeying a direct order...

nothing a military mind hates more,  than troops who think they know better than their leaders....

if I am told to get a sword,  a sword I will get, and the very best one I can...  doesnt need  to be spendy or fancy looking,   needs to be a good sword, not a fake,  and in my book,  a rula would make a much better issue battle sword than anything in the catalogs of the self professed experts of a dead art...

old chinese saying,  that those who speak, do not know, and those who know do not speak...

the real experts with blades  in modern times are guys who work in the brush and jungles with blades every day, all day long, clearing acres, planting food etc., with nothing but a machete...   and they have the muscles and skills to prove it...  if you ever come to central america,  observe the men, you can tell a campesino from a town dweller in a quick glance..   the  country guys are gnarly...  and the tool they use most is the common machete, and most prefered for serious work are the longer rulas...  and many of them can clear an acre or more in a day....   you try that....

in battle,  its not a 30 second thing, goes on until only guys from one side or the other are left standiing...  and its not a place for a purist thrusting weapon...

Id much rather be on the side of gnarly campesinos than city types with ornate relics...

now to point...  if this is all a big test,  following orders might carry some points with it...  and following that order might be what shifted the balance enough to put a sinner on the side of the cutters, rather than the cuttees...  and a humble blade that was of better practical use would be more respected than a historic dinosaur blade, who's design and materials enhancement stopped a hundred years ago, or that was impractical in a real battle....

and yes, I could design a better sword than a rula, but the rula would be my starting point....

and its a sword that anyone can afford...

I bought three this week for $3.50 each...  and got the shorter 22 inch and a 24 inch rula, because I was buying them  for use by small women....

For myself, I like the  26 and 28 inch rulas..

anyway, my point is; that  it might be advisable to have one on hand for everyone in your clan...

they are a prime survival tool.. here where its warm all the time, it aint an axe...   if I had to get down to one possession, it would be a rula...  I can grow food, gut fish, or defend myself and my family, and do it very very effectively with that one single device....

and do it for next to nothing, and carry the thing full time in my hands if need be...  and here in central america, they are the weapon of choice killing snakes..

most of which are extremely toxic.. they also leap, yes, large snakes eight feet or so long at times, that can leap more than their body length...

hope you are really really good with your shovel....

so...   they might be considered the appropriate tool to rid the planet of two legged snakes..

and for a final point, there is a guy in Ciudad Neily who begs on the street..   he sits on the sidewalk with his plastic cup..  he has a leg thats had exposed flesh for most of my years here, you can see the meat any day of the week you happen by....   he got bit by a local snake..  once years ago.. and went from a working man to being handicapped for life in half a second....

I went past him a couple days ago, on the way to buy art supplies for a young girl, on the way back,  the change went into his cup, and I heard him say thankyou as I kept walking...   there but for the grace of God sit I......  I live in the brush,  toxic snakes are a part of my life..  and there is no shortage here...

anyway, do search rula machetes,  and if you are really serious about edged weapons or following orders exactly,  get one...

8 September 2011

afternoon,
have  computer  access for  the  first time in awhile, my  fone went bad, so limited now on ablility to blog..

have been listening  to  short  wave, things  getting  worse,  I dont expect things to get any better until after
alien arrival, as per book of  Enoch..  down hill trip folks,  gold isnt going to  save your butts, nor is money an any form..
I've realized for a long time the  connections in bible between money and "luck" in  whats coming, basically it boils down
to the more into or  connected to money, the  less are your chances of survival, and also it  will likely be a criteria when its time to decide
who gets their necks cut and who gets to  do the  cutting..

heard the  other night on short wave, an expose'  on money related stuff in the  bible, and it  was  very obvious that there is a
definite connection..  basically if you are into the  money system, you are guilty of its damages..  everything I heard backed this  up, and more...

so my  advice to  those capable of real thinking, is  to start vectoring away from the  use of  money until you get to absolute zero..

Getting  out of Babylon includes the  money  system,  and  I believe this is in  fact the  nexus, or  focal point,  that your  chances of keeping  your
neck intact are in direct proportion to  your  involvement with  the  money  system..  and  that money, or  gold  hoarded will be looked upon as  unused potential to  help others, or to prepare for whats coming..

just as I have suspected...

I am  currently in dire straits over un cared for dental problems, had two teeth pulled, do to extreme infection,  seems to be a very antibiotic resistant bacteria,  have had a dozen
bottles of  IV antibiotics administered, and the infection keeps coming back..  if  it  was  post  collapse,  I'd be dead as of last week..  and  not  sure I  will survive this even now..

so  please take care of any dental problems you have now, before the  collapse hits, and also I  suggest that you stockpile antibiotics anyway possible, for  yourself and  family and  others..

and  do it  in quantity and  in  quality..   much  better  a  pile of antibiotics, than a stack of gold or silver coins, that will be  worthless when there is nothing  to  buy...

Some economists are predicting the collapse in three to six months, others giving about  three years, until in deflationary depression...   if you are money dependant, best you get your  trip together now for living without it, even if that  requires going neonomadic...  time is  going to  be the most critical factor, that and realizing the  truth about whats
coming in time to do something about it in your own lives...   The Bankers are smugly assured that their plan for world government will work if they get everyone enough
afraid..  i  dont  think it  will work out that good for them. or  for  those who suck up their lies...

world war three will be the eventual result..  which they think  they can easily survive,  and they arent aware of the eventual alien arrival, or that anything could go wrong
with  their  schemes...  unfortunately for  them too many people  now  understand the connections, and whats coming...

Time is  running  out, and if  youre thinking anything but getting out, or preparedness, youre a bigger fool than I am....

time to  do some  serious rethinking of  yourself..   time to exit Babylon on the  run...   time to prepare to help others.. anything else is suicide of one form
or another..

I'm  doing  what I can,  even today giving a stealth sermon to neighbors at the  bus stop on the  way to town..
trying to get them to plant more food and  not to believe in the  money system...  have one local guy starting to think really good...  and others  starting to actually listen..
not an  easy accomplishment in a land where nothing bad has ever happened...

I also hear Chuck Norris has come out in public, trying to get people to wake up..  good man..  now do your part.

prepare for  the absolute worst case scenario..  and maybe you  can squeeze by, maybe.. no guarantees of  anything from now on...
and  remember; the ultimate criteria for not having your neck cut, will be did you help others, especially those most in need, and  not  just  family and  friends...

anyway,  likely will be at  the dentist's tomorrow,  and find out how things are going in real terms, and what to do next about the  resistant infection...going to be another tight month at  best, for the thin wallet..   but, if I can beat the infection, and continue to struggle towards preparedness, i will be very thankful..

When you live very low for a long time, what you learn, is  how little you actually really need to keep breathing..   best to run a  tight ship,  and be prepared for the  storms coming over the horizon...  and I hope that this blog has helped some,  I write as always from the point of view that if what I've posted here helps even one person, its was more
than worth all the time spent trying to teach what I've figured out by being slightly ahead of the curve..

so,  my  personal struggle continues,  every month I try to do things to prepare..  I have no desire for wealth, or  fame, just want to make a better world however possible,
and have realized that everything we take for normal is incredibly twisted..

all connected to the love of money, and our innate egocentric natures...

anyway,  other emails to write..

good luck!

Continued;.............

I also taught myself flint knapping, favorite tool is a railroad spike
& a hunk of tire rubber.. I've worked Obsidian, and produced points
that collectors flat refused to believe I did myself in 15 minutes...
I generally make points out of glass... Coke bottle bottoms & TV tube
glass are my favorites... No shortage of those resources anywhere on
the planet... I make steel tips too... like to use lace into a slot
method, with monofiliment fishing line, and then coat with epoxy
resin... aint comin' apart... and used up machete steel is just
right for broadheads... easy enough to cut out with a thin abrasive
wheel.. And I could do it in my fire pit with red steel and a hot set
type chisel, then retemper.. I know the art well... blacksmithing is
a personal hobby... Starting with flat stock means all I have to do is
cut out, temper & sharpen.. Yup! A country boy can survive...
especially if he's not too caught up in the wizzmo-gizmo culture...

how did I learn all my skills? decided I was more interested in
hobbys than watching TV... TV watchers are going to have bad stats in
whats coming...

anyway, my worker commented the other day that I had food growing
everywhere... yup! My original vision was to create a garden of
Eden... its been a fun hobby, dont own any freeze dried food... no
gold other than a couple pieces of jewlery..

not much caught up in money... it could disappear tomorrow & I'd
adapt almost instantly... have gone for years on end barefoot in the
jungle.. my favorite way to eat fish is raw.. Sushi, Cevechi, etc..

Also made another Neoindigenous discovery;

cooking wood; always a problem in the wet season in the tropics when
your shelter repretoir doesnt include a wood shed... what I figured
out, was the easy way to do it, was to peel a tree, and let it die
standing.. pretty soon limbs start falling... nice dry wood...
eventually I cut the trunk down and burn it too, and then plant a food
tree where the original tree was... and so slowly evolve my
surrounding area into food security... dont need a wood shed, if
youre not too good to burn sticks, or chop up larger limbs & trunk...
wouldnt work in wet northern climates like the Pacific north west, but
here the evaporation rate is high enough that standing dead wood is
generally dry enough to burn... I have several trees peeled ahead..
More to peel, and what land I have that isnt in fruit, is in forest
now, it was all pasture filled with scrub brush when I bought it...
the locals thought I was crazy for letting the brush grow.. They were
all shifting to gas or electric stoves at the time... wasnt long
though until wood cooking "Fugons" started appearing behind houses..
They discovered gas & electricity to be expensive... so its kind of
funny to see nice stoves in kitchens, and the mom behind the house,
poking sticks into the traditional fugon, under a small sheet metal
roof... People in towns cant do that, no fuel source..

trapped like rats by their desire to be closer to money sources...

I have an unlimited supply of cooking fuel.... unlimited supply of
water, and more land than my descendants will need for generations...

I'm just as agile as I was in my 20's, just as healthy..

I worry about whats coming, not for myself, I'm better prepared than
most of humanity...

for the last couple years I've been collecting the ocasional pocket
knife.. Not easy on a micro budget, but have managed to get some nice
pocket knives of several different types... why?
Because I suspect a pocket knife is the brush rat's most used tool,
and having several different types means I have knives for specific
uses... I've high graded whats come past... also because pocket
knives make sense for the refugee... minimalistic, no need of sheath
etc... I lanyardize every thing, learned as a kid that I never lost
a lanyarded knife...

I lanyardize sheath knives too..

I also drill the handles of garden tools & axes etc. so that they can
be tied thru a hole to pack saddle etc... hard to lose something tied
thru a hole... an axe etc. Might catch on a limb and slip out and be
lost if not tied thru a hole...

well, the woman thats been after me seems to be serious... she's
losing 30 pounds at the moment... nice lady, a nurse at a local
hospital, had five daughters, single mom, three adopted.. On a third
world income.. One daughter just left home this week, another two will
follow in the next couple of years.. last two will be awhile... But I
like kids...

the woman was raised on a farm, but got caught up in the money trap...
went thru several shades of hades in her life... has realized in
town isnt a good life... and knows having a guy is a good idea these
days... wants to grow food again... Live with some space... likes
animals.. and with her being "chaser" & me being "chasee" I got to
set my price... no bullshit, no games, with the requirement of
constant struggle on her part to be a good wife in MY opinion, not
hers... she's 16 years younger than I am... ten years older than my
number one son... so I suspect my years of living alone to be drawing
towards an end... I've been living alone for most of 18 years....

She's had a thing for me for years.. Offended me once years ago... I
like her for who she is.. She's at the same point...

anyway, I need to go take my last rinse of the day in the spring, and
butcher that pineapple... Yumm!

where did I go wrong?

its a humble life, but a good one....
Why does everyone like the Tarzan dream?
Because its sanity. it is do-able, it is better than being a rainbow
niggeroo... funny how what goes around, comes around... most of the
slaves are white people now.. black people at least werent
volunteers.... they werent that stupid back then, they knew they had
it good... my only crit of black people, is theyre too white on the
inside now... Like their old slang term: "Oreo" i.e. Black on the
outside, white on the inside... like an Oreo cookie... well, how
bout "Oreos on steroids"? you black folk really need to get back to
the land, go back to agriculture, rewild yourselves some... Get away
from the cities, the drugs, the dependence on whitey's technocult...
alot of you are some incredibly decent folks, time to do what it
takes and regraft onto your old "real" roots... Not some TV movie, to
pump you up, while youre still effectively slaves by other means...

If you want to be my neighbor, 'hope you like gardening & fishing...
And that the kids like horses etc... we'd do fine... The playing
field has been leveled quite a bit lately... the uppitys have come
down some...

humble people are an asset anywhere...

Continued;.............

I also taught myself flint knapping, favorite tool is a railroad spike
& a hunk of tire rubber.. I've worked Obsidian, and produced points
that collectors flat refused to believe I did myself in 15 minutes...
I generally make points out of glass... Coke bottle bottoms & TV tube
glass are my favorites... No shortage of those resources anywhere on
the planet... I make steel tips too... like to use lace into a slot
method, with monofiliment fishing line, and then coat with epoxy
resin... aint comin' apart... and used up machete steel is just
right for broadheads... easy enough to cut out with a thin abrasive
wheel.. And I could do it in my fire pit with red steel and a hot set
type chisel, then retemper.. I know the art well... blacksmithing is
a personal hobby... Starting with flat stock means all I have to do is
cut out, temper & sharpen.. Yup! A country boy can survive...
especially if he's not too caught up in the wizzmo-gizmo culture...

how did I learn all my skills? decided I was more interested in
hobbys than watching TV... TV watchers are going to have bad stats in
whats coming...

anyway, my worker commented the other day that I had food growing
everywhere... yup! My original vision was to create a garden of
Eden... its been a fun hobby, dont own any freeze dried food... no
gold other than a couple pieces of jewlery..

not much caught up in money... it could disappear tomorrow & I'd
adapt almost instantly... have gone for years on end barefoot in the
jungle.. my favorite way to eat fish is raw.. Sushi, Cevechi, etc..

Also made another Neoindigenous discovery;

cooking wood; always a problem in the wet season in the tropics when
your shelter repretoir doesnt include a wood shed... what I figured
out, was the easy way to do it, was to peel a tree, and let it die
standing.. pretty soon limbs start falling... nice dry wood...
eventually I cut the trunk down and burn it too, and then plant a food
tree where the original tree was... and so slowly evolve my
surrounding area into food security... dont need a wood shed, if
youre not too good to burn sticks, or chop up larger limbs & trunk...
wouldnt work in wet northern climates like the Pacific north west, but
here the evaporation rate is high enough that standing dead wood is
generally dry enough to burn... I have several trees peeled ahead..
More to peel, and what land I have that isnt in fruit, is in forest
now, it was all pasture filled with scrub brush when I bought it...
the locals thought I was crazy for letting the brush grow.. They were
all shifting to gas or electric stoves at the time... wasnt long

Saturday 6 August 2011.........

morning..
Just did a second stint on guitar rita..
Its a beautiful day, I did some putter work, more to follow..

have a pineapple that I need to eat today, but currently full of left
over flat bread from yesterday, so the Pinya waits...

learned a couple neoindigenous tips for you in the last few days...

one, realized that my new little garden trowels would be nice for
working cement laying stone... the mason's trowel has flat
construction due to working with regular flat and square shapes...
bricks, or block... that flat tool is fine for what its designed for,
but stone is a different medium.. and I think a garden trowel would
be alot more ergonomic for laying stone...

another thing I figured out, was a way to make coffee more
efficiently... thought about the classic great depression Hobo
technique of boiling the coffee grounds in the water... and began to
suspect that maybe the perculator, espresso maker, and drip style
coffee makers were something likely pushed by the coffee industry &
general electric... so, now having a stove top for my fire pit, I
decided to dig out my stainless on the burner style perculator, and do
an experiment... kitchen science, my specialty...

I havent used the perculator due to wood handle & open fire.. and
I've always hated cleaning perculator basket, lid, and stand pipe...

so I gutted it, filled it halfway with spring water, and threw in
three eating style teaspoons of coffee, & placed it on my stove top...

and boiled it awhile, and poured thru a fine screen filter/strainer I
got for tea... then the crucial taste test... no difference....
in other words, a few billion people have been duped into buying some
junk that if you study the physics, is designed to give Yuppies, &
Proto Yuppies something that uses about twice as much coffee, and
requires a special purchass of a dedicated item.... hmmm? are we
stupid sheep or what... yeah, lets just believe everything we're told
by the experts on TV...

anyway, I've been doing it a couple days, and using about half the coffee...

coffee is affordable in Costa rica, but with food prices escalating,
and the money value going down shit river into greedy pockets, I
think its a perfect time to dispell the urban myth about not boiling
the coffee in the water...

suggest you try it for yourself, and think about how much you spend
annually on the drug habit...

so basically you can make coffee in any pot, other than the
politically correct versions & come out way ahead on money... might
not seem as classy as the piece of shit plastic coffee dripper thats
taking up counter space, and costs money to buy etc... but
considering the Corporate Fascism now trashing everybody, I think
figuring out how to reduce cash flow to corporations is a good idea...

so, all you survivalist wannabees, take note... also a nice technique
for camping or backpackers....

it follows on the heels of a similar discovery with Tobacco...

I like to use tobacco for ceremonial/religious purposes, & as a
calming drug for mental grounding... but not into the cigarette
mentality..

so I built a nice long native american style pipe.. and quickly
realized the bowl was way too big... might be just the thing to
Pow-Wow with a bunch of buddies, but it used alot of Tobacco...

so then I made a much smaller pipe, with a bowl that might hold half
a thimble... only to discover it was also too big... so then I made
pipe number three, with the bowl being a 1/4 inch brass compression
fitting with the threads bored out ... its the size of a hash pipe..
And about right...

what I realized, is big pipes & cigarettes are again designed ways to
waste product...

if you study the anthropology of modern smoking culture, you notice
people light up a cigarette or pipe, and then they either smoke it, or
it burns up...

this creates an artificially induced excess habit, and as the body
builds up resistance, more cigarettes follow...

I find the ritual of filling & smoking a tiny pipe to be as nice as
the ritual of making tea... and with the bowl holding maybe a gram of
product, I never smoke too much at any one time, body resistance stays
down, as does likelyhood of ill effects...

also keeps from feeding a corporate monster...

so, all you smokers take note... get a hash pipe, reduce the amount
you smoke by 90%... Still enjoy your drug... keep the doctor farther
away from your kid's inheritance etc....

all you have to do is alter the habit.. in other words those
cigarettes were designed to get you to smoke too much...

what got me started on this logic was thinking about how small teacups
were... designed in another era... When people had to work, and didnt
have machines to make decadence the in thing...

so I downsized my coffee cup... still enjoy the drug, enjoy the
ritual, but use less coffee...

I also use a similar technique for drinking Rum...
I like to sip rum out of a shot glass... I buy a 375 ml bottle, about
$2 here for my favorite taste, which is Ron Abuelo from Panama....not
too sweet, not too watery.. and via the sipping from a shot glass,
this Sailor goes on a two day binge, for a dollar a day... I also
like Rum in coffee, and in green coconuts.. Which is the smoothest &
best mixed drink on the planet...

I do something similar with cooking fires.. Make the smallest fire
possible for the job.. Less wood to hack & pack... And its why I
searched for the downsized two burner iron stove top, and not a bigger
unit.. my stove top would go into a canoe without being noticed...

minimalism is incredibly powerful...

and money is incredibly toxic stuff.. Think about it... I suspect
that our whole reality has been skewed by money & greed... universal
slant, no innocents...

I find living on a micro budget of $100 a month to be fine.. I
generally spend about $30 on food, and the rest upgrades my
neoindigenous lifestyle one piece at a time... what makes it work
well, is heading for a lifestyle that has less need for money...
which is one reason I moved to the tropics, and into the brush on a
mountain, with the big wild jungle for my back yard.. was tired of
cleaning the toilet, & defrosting a stinky refrigerator on my "free"
time... Free from working a job to maintain the pieces of shit
materialistic life style... I have no plumping to fix, no electric
bill, doing fine on a single panel & battery, w/a 375 watt inverter...

my "House" has a ten by ten foot floor.. 100 square feet... not much
to impress the tax man if he ever gets lost enough to find me...

I dont need a gun either.. been into bows since I was 10 years old..
I suspect I could kill anything on the planet with my bow... Fred
Bear, and numerous others have proven the point...

and I make my own arrows from scratch using native materials...
homeland security types are going to have a hard time shutting off my
ammo supply, or preventing me from building bows.. and if they get as
nasty, so can I... Plenty of really toxic snakes & frogs here... you
wouldnt want to harass me excessively...

I know snakes here with no antidote.. all I gotta do is hit you...
and I've had alot of practice in my life, and shoot fine with bow
sight or instinctual... and I once had the pleasure of pissing off
some good old boys with spendy compound bows... I went to the local
indoor winter shooting club, with a recurve... had a bicycle spoke
taped to it, and bent around for a site.. all the red necks
snickered, considered me a fool... Mind you, I was into archery
before most rednecks even thought about it... I shot some groups as
good as theirs... things got real quiet.. I saw angry looks on red
faces.... matched necks... The next month I bought and installed a
sight... the bike spoke was a tempory expedient... not a stunt...
Sure learned something about human nature though... aint the price of
your toys boys, its how good are you with what you have.... never
owned a compound, never shot one... I figure I'm not too much of a
pussy to pull and hold a real bow... I tend to be fairly stubborn, an
asset when it comes to full draw, and getting on target...

Someone murdered a 52-year-old U.S. woman on the grounds of her
family's luxury tourist rental on the Osa peninsula.

Friends identified her as Lisa Artz, who was the resident manager of
Casa Tres Palmas in upper Matapalo, just south of Puerto Jiménez on
the east shore of the Osa peninsula.

The Judicial Investigating Organization said that she was found in a
small cabina bound hands and feet with a blanket over her face. Agents
presumed she was smothered. Acquaintances said the woman lived in the
small cabina, the first structure her family build on the land,
because the adjacent 6,000-square-foot structure was rented frequently
to vacationers.

Casa Tres Palmas is known as the most luxurious property in the area
with a commanding views of the point where the waters of the Gulfo
Dulce meet those of the Pacific. Ms. Artz' father is George Artz, a
successful restaurant owner. The family runs Coconuts on the Beach in
Cocoa Beach, Florida. The sprawling main house features a Tiki-style
villa with a palm thatched roof. The property rents from $300 to $400
a night and sleeps up to 12, said the Casa Tres Palmas Web site.

Judicial police said they were awaiting the results of an autopsy to
determine exactly how the woman died. The autopsy also should provide
an estimate on when death occurred. Ms. Artz was a frequent visitor,
and friends said she arrived in the community last December to serve
as manager for the property. The property is 20 kilometers or about 14
miles south of Puerto Jiménez.

An acquaintance said the woman was scheduled to leave Costa Rica for
the United States Wednesday.

There has been a wave of criminal activity in the area, including
robberies and home invasions. There also is the unsolved February
murder of Kimberly Blackwell, 53, a Canadian, in San

Matapalo
A.M. Costa Rica graphic
Arrow shows location of murder scene

Miguel de Cañaza near Puerto Jiménez. Ms.
Blackwell was known in the area as the operator of Samaritan Xocolata,
which produced high-end chocolate items from Costa Rican cocao.

There also is the case of two Austrian citizens who were residents of
Puerto Jiménez. They vanished around Christmas 2009. That case still
is open.

Across the gulf in Golfito, the death of an expat there still is an
open case. He was Kelly Robert Nutting, 38, who was dumped in the
gulf with his hands tied behind him and with a piece of concrete
attached to his body. He appears to have been strangled. The U.S. Navy
veteran managed his family's hotel. The murder was in March 2010.

Although there have been sensational rumors, a close examination of
all the cases point to individual and personal motives, according to
residents of the area and some police investigators. Except for the
Artz case, judicial agents seem to know the likely suspects and the
individual motives that led to the killing but do not have enough
evidence to make an arrest under Costa Rica's complex penal code. The
reasons appear to be different, involve different suspects and have
motives that range from revenge to greed to jealousy.

Thursday, 28th July 2011......

Morning,
first sips of coffee, struggling with my fone, obviously trying to
slowly die the way computers often do..

listened to some short wave last night.. people struggling with
society, obviously trying to die, the way societies often do...

things often happen in reoccuring patterns, across broadly different
areas of reality..

repetitive patterns, waves, and here we are on the beach of time,
watching them come in...

I listened to some farmer types, discussing floods caused by Army
Corps of Humdingers..

how arrogant the beaurostracracy is etc...

farmers trying to understand people who would be scandalized by dirt
on their hands, or mud on their shoes..

its a downhill trip.. Glad I got to an edge of the empire to live my
silly life...

really doesnt matter where my campsite is, as long as its got water,
soil, sun & security.. a man can live almost anywhere theres nature
to elbow into & reshape a bit...

the Empire's woes are saddening, & frightening.. alot of decent
people in confusion.. Not understanding that society has become
controlled by utter thieves again..

me, just camping, & trying to get prepared for the storm ahead..
spent some time yesterday working on my new pickhoe head, getting it
taken care of & towards ready for use...

happy as a clam doing so, knowing its a key piece in the puzzle of
subsistence & survival..

one of the top five tools on my list for the cabin in the woods
routine... It took me a couple years to find and afford the right
one, wanted the same model as the one I neutered into a grub hoe, so I
could use the Cortesa custom handle I made for myself in either hoe..

and that hoe ended up being a discontinued model in stores.. But
finally ran into one, and afforded, and packed it home with about 50
lbs or so of other stuff, taking 7.5 hours on average, & 3 bus changes
to go 100 km... Which tells you something about the tico concept of
mass transit in rural zones...

but I dont have to go any such where very often, and kinda working
against the clock in my own mind, getting ready for what reality
translates infinite human stupidity into in practical terms...

Collecting what I can of usefull items, on my meager budget, doing
fine, keeping to my neoindigenous imaginary limits...

Basically am using my materialistic desire, to better prepare myself..
I see people around me spending thousands every month, mostly on
vanities, and I feel pretty good, if my vanities are a few extra hand
tools..

I liberated plenty of neoindigenous goodies from retailers, looting my
way mentally thru stocks in a small border community.. pack ratting
off what I could..

I sacrifice to be able to do it, others sacrifice for me. I hope to
if nothing else, have some root-rock-dirt security for my group, in
case they need it.. Already managed to badger them into heading good
directions towards such fundamentals..

soon, a couple years maybe, begin pulling our little clan of friends &
family together geographically into a co-operative unit.. A little
commune of sorts, where loosly knit people help each other adapt to a
reality in flux, as an Empire of vanity & ego goes thru its death
throes...

the drawing in.. Reforming what was lost a couple generations ago..
doing what I can to insure food in pots, cooking fuel under them,
coffee in cups of people who cooperate & assist each other with the
necessities of life..

so, I boyscout along... doing simple things.. communicating what I
learn & think..

Adulthood, is when you realize, that the Sailor's term, of; "getting
your shit together." is an ongoing & endless struggle, and not a
destination already arrived at ever..

the problem with the farmers, & government, is that the status quo has
an "unrealistic Overview" of reality... all they can see is
themselves at the top of a pyramid of Nirvana, with their dinner
parties & billions, managing a world that exists solely for themselves
etc...

And they see the farmers as being little different, than horses hooked
to their carts...

Well, farmers tend to have some horse sense..

and status quo types wouldnt know a raddish from a turnip, if it was
still in the ground..

and an unrealistic overview, invariably leads to the erosion of the
base of the pyramid, until the horses have had enough, and kick the
status quo's teeth out...

education is not intelligence, & academics isnt good sense..

Theory doesnt grow Turnips..

all I can say, is best one quit believing in the system, and start
operating on a more fundamental level of organization.. and you'd
best be able to get by without the system, and be prepared to kick its
teeth in if necessary, because those running it, & those following
them, havent a clue about reality... they manage a cobbled up
technoculture, with human stupidity as a major ingredient in the mix..
and they whip the horses, careening the cart over the cobbles, with
the bearings screaming & smoking from lack of grease...

quit calling your bleeping congressman.. he's not going to do shit..
He's the complaint department... theres an economic fire wall between
him & reality..

only way to change the system is dont use it.. the horses keep trying
to go back into the burning barn..

much better if they spent their time contemplating the meaning &
responsibilities of freedom..

because when things finally collapse, they're going to get to deal
with it, in a without the system reality, ready or not...

might be good to focus on how to keep the kids fed no matter what..
and how to keep doing it.. forever... And not just rely on some
freeze dried glop, that the rats can gnaw & chew right thru the part
where it says 25 year shelf life...

when the system goes down, best you already have your subsistence trip
already up...

and not be expecting the system to shortly fix itself, so you can go
push your little shopping cart down the asiles of Consumer-topia...

its going to be a big crash folks.. those in charge think squeezing
the Turnips for blood is a good idea..

Sunday, 24 July, 2011.......

Evening, going on midnight...

its a warm tropical night, didnt rain today to cool things off..

I was sleeping, but awake now.. Some text messages from a woman who
thinks she has to have me...

so I did some cafe, will be up for awhile, keeping her company via
texts, at the hospital, she's doing the night shift..

went to Panama awhile back, bought some stuff, a cast iron stove top
for my fire, another pick hoe for my garden, and a set of garden
trowels and matching scratch rake device, all in stainless..

also got a nice pocket knife with a hook blade, high quality, which
I suspect was designed for a paratroopers shroud knife... Its a one
hand opener, side lock, and has a clip... Blade is very good
stainless.. Took me a couple days to rebevel & remove factory edge,
used grades of wet or dry sand paper over a cylinder to sharpen its
inside curve..

also made a lanyard for it out of a nylon boot lace.. Which make nice
lanyard material due to flexibility.

I sharpened the stainless trowels with a file.. That took awhile
too... But theyre now hanging like wind chimes in my garden tools
selection of my little shelter...

havent listened to much short wave lately, taking a break from my
anthropological studies of human insanity via the eitheral planes..
I.e. Got tired of listening to all the horrible shit theyre doing to
you normal people.. in the name of unnessisary improvements &
corporate fascist profit margins..

aint a margin anymore, they have most of the page, and its the day
niggeroos who've been marginalized economically & politically..

I feel sorry for you poor bleepers... Trapped by your insecurity &
vanity in a terminal system...

I hear them on short wave howling for jobs..

gee, I never much liked jobs... seemed like they were never worth the
money, due to management types, with hardons for self justification,
coming up with constant absurd shit to pile onto the self niggeroo
units...

I dont think more jobs is the sollution.. I think more people getting
out of the system is...

thats all I do now, is vector off from the technocult... I wouldnt
want a job.. would eat up my free time, and I've gotten used to that
being 24/7....

once you figure out you can stay alive on $50 a month, a job seems out
of the question... These days, I get to spend $100 a month, & am
constantly improving my very comfy life in real terms.. being
neoindigenous in nature pays...

I also got a couple more plastic buckets in panama, and started buying
second hand clothing too, starting my post crash clothing stash...

been working mentally lately on a design for a fire making machine...

getting tired of disposable lighters that goto shit, and matches in
the tropics will drive you nuts due to the humidity.. a lens is fine
on sunny days, but they aint all sunny...

so thinking to upscale the bowdrill friction system into something
that really works good.. make it have a wooden frame, and be foot
powered, stair stepper maybe? Where I can create fire in maybe a
minute on cloudy days with no technocult resourses.. kind of a
Gilligan's island device..

I want to keep it small, and make it in my usual laced together
fashion, so it comes apart for neonomadic transport if needed...

might seem silly now, but take away the technocult, and it would get
regular use...

I bought the paratroopers knife to use in the garden.. Fine for harvesting...

anyway.. Got my trip going good, improve my life regularly, do
ocasional camp improvements, and stay happy dog most of the time.. I
couldnt starve to death unless I was blind, I have constant food
falling on the ground... If I can crawl & see, I can eat now...

so.. Here I am, got a toad on my floor popping bugs as I write.. The
lizards think I'm a great guy, and life is pretty good as a wild man..

meanwhile youre all gnawing your fingernails off, at what the faggot
on Pennsylvania avenue and his friendly gay whores for neighbors are
doing to you..

get out of Babylon.. Period..

have been practicing the electric guitar daily, steadily learning..
Into strumming rythims now..

got myself a couple pretty thumb picks in tropical colors.. Next year
hope to start learning finger picking also... much more pleasant &
rewarding to play an instrument, than to listen to canned shit.. if
the recording industry had to rely on me to support them, they'd
starve to death..

I like things that are real.. Not into a TV dreamland opiated state
mentality.. Not a jock head.. Dont spend time surfing the internet in
materialistic lust..
My hobbies have become my life, and my life is my hobby... What could
be better than living simple in nature, and doing things myself?

July 11th, 2011............

or when they were sticking their long nose into things that really
were none of their business...

I find being alone in the brush much more secure than any urban
reality.. and the only law here, is me..

works fine...

anyway, not much on law, more into minding my own business, and
trying to be decent.. dont get caught up much in puffed up imaginary
constructs with big sharp teeth, or care to watch versions created by
hollywood for cunsumption by white trash serfs...

its mostly a faery tale.. seen police brutality with my own eyes,
been abused by court systems, got no help when it should have been
forth coming, sorry, current reality legal system gets low marks in
my book.. nothing personal, its just really screwed up, & not
getting any better..

anyway, its a couple hours from dawn, feeling ok, want to practice
the guitar, but theres a few mosquitos to make that miserable... I
find learning guitar to be very rewarding personally.. its a slow
process, for me, but I'm enjoying it...

today I have more bananas going ripe, so will try to eat them one way
or another.. have always liked bananas, its alot of fun growing
enough to send my worker home with sacks of them...
This week, he hauled off 65 pounds of fruit, various things, didnt
have room for a request from his wife for breadnuts.. we've got no
shortage of those.. so my little niece got to be happy snooping
daddy's sack & pack.. only to find all kinds of stuff she likes...
she can have all the ripe bananas she wants this week.. her mom cuts
up fruit etc. And puts it low in the refer so she can help herself,
or share with her cousin.. they seem to be happy little girls raiding
the refer..

I'm looking foreward to more stuff putting on more types of fruit &
food... got enough planted, to keep alot of moms & kids happy..
seemed more important to me, than being a money grubber, and wearing
suits or driving flashy cars... excess vanity is an obvious mental
illness...

would rather live simple and do good things.. make a better world
however slight..

later, hiked down to village, bought some flour & coffee.. Need to
reboot the fire, get water hot..
Start my usual daily routine...

one with time to think, realizes things.. compares problems with own
actions.. Finds similar impurities..

a better world starts inside...

July 10th, 2011..........

Afternoon,
overcast, 82F for temp reading, things wet after a gentle tropical
shower.. I slept like a baby during the shower, belly full of banana
bread, cooked over my fire in the morning..

have been lately thinking about organizers... my plastic tackle boxes
are degrading. going to have to start replacing them..

likely will use a system based around 5 gallon buckets for as much as
possible.. perhaps get collecting small plastic peanut butter jars,
or other bottles to go inside of buckets..

also considering trying to buy these strange lunch carrying devices
from India, stackers out of stainless, with a strap and handle
system.. thinking to get several of the devices, when I can, & use
for organizing things like fishing tackle, leather working hardware,
etc...

another device I want to get more of, is the stainless yuppie water
bottles.. love them for condiments, could see using them for other
stuff, cooking oil, detergent, coffee & tea etc. As the gasketed caps
prevent the usual problems living in the brush..

also need to get some tool boxes going.. Likely buy plastic type
w/tray etc. as I've minimized my mechanics tools w/the aid of two
legged rats..

going to have to start padlocking things, and building fortified housing..

what I want, is to focus on organisation & mobility.. I'd like to
eventually get my reality down to a point I could pack up & load
everything I own in a single day alone, move the next day, & on the
other end, unpack in a single day, and have everything in its place
just like before..

may sound bazaar to some, but I find such self imposed parameters to
be a really helpful aid in controlling my life, & preventing the
materialistic version of urban sprawl in my life..

most americans have more stuff in their garage than I own.. I'd like
to get my transportation for moving my stuff secured also.. be able
to move everything in one trip..

including my shelter..

have been thinking of ways to build shelves that are sized, and
designed so they fold up and create packsaddle type panniers in
pairs.. so four shelving sections create two boxes, designed to hang
on pack saddle if need be.. could go into a pony cart also... Just
want things where I have permanent organisation & mobility..

its like the old sailor's trunks in the 1800's and before, basically
wooden boxes, that they lived out of, and sat on to eat, converse,
etc.. they generally had rope handles thru a small block of wood on
each side.. the blocks of wood allowed them to be carried easily
slung on packsaddles, so if a sailor was changing ships, or going
ashore semi-permanently, his trunk could be transported by whatever
means was available..

its a far cry from modern airport luggage..

I suspect if you reincarnated a mariner, they'd likely have strange
opinions about baggage.. most of them lived their whole lives with
less materialism than the average american thinks they need for an
over weekend trip..

I suspect they wouldnt be at all comfortable with the extreme mindset
of materialistic vanity so common today..

I've been playing learning "knife only" cooking and eating
techniques.. its an interesting study..
one does develope new dexterity...

not a bad thing to be comfortable with.. Definitely a skill.. if I
find myself down to not much, will seem homey..

another thing I've been thinking about, is people's addictions to
normalcy... I think "pleasing the wife" is going to get alot of
people DEAD.....

I just had a conversation on the subject with a woman friend.. hey
babe, comfort aint security.. Two completely different issues..

in fact, I suspect a dichotomy at work.. security is generally a
function of preparedness & mobility.. I doubt a queen sized bed, or a
sofa lend themselves much to security, & nothing to mobility...

she ended up coming around on the subject...

better than many I know, Sofa Queen lifestyle, paid for via an
"ocasional use only" vagina...

I like "happy camper" women, literally.. Much more pleasant than the
"crappy hamper" attitude types...

'dont much believe in human relationships these days.. have the
psychology figured out on both ends, added to a wait & see what really
happens attitude...

when the shit hits, if I have a female partner, it will be because she
got there & stayed there on her own steam, and was able to live with
the mindset correct for the era...

so far, none such woman... but who knows.. I'm not worried.. in
one's 50's a guy realizes that sex is an entertainment, not a
necessity..

means its like TV, you can shut it off, walk away, and find something
better to do..

kind of negates the "vagina & head games" so popular in modern
relationships with females.. living alone is such a relief in
comparison..

I sleep good every night.. never a bed with a negative emotional
charge.. my humorous side has me thinking to look for some teddy bear
or stuffed cloth animal to decorate my cot with... should get some
grins from unsuspecting friends... kids will understand though..
sometimes imaginary friends are higher quality than what passes for
real ones these days..

would be nice if I still had my teddy bear from childhood.. But it
went the way of everything I loved, got thrown out, behind my back,
by self righteous parents with absolute zero respect for anything
except their own egotistic thinking habbits.. a childhood from hell
in many ways..

I personally couldnt imagine being so manipulative.. like thieving
from your childs heart to feed your own arrogant vanity..

people are such turds when in self centered mode..

my worker commented the other day, that he thinks about my childhood
stories, and has a hard time believing them.. I told him; you havent
heard 1% of it...

I tried to do better for my kids.. got cut off by a vanity head &
legal help... vanity head later grew up... so the kids got to learn
in the process, and things ended fairly well..

the fun part about a blog, is you can say anything you like about
anything or anyone.. Or even yourself... unlike government, I attempt
to be truthful...

its a form of expression to me.. Exercising my rights to free speech
regularly is the best way to keep them, and avoid having to use my
second ammendment rights to reinstate all the rest of them after I
get tired of letting the chiselers think I believe in their toilet
paper legalist land fill mindset... I tend to be a fundamentalist...
All the accretions are meaningless to me.. I see law & order as a
fundamental of two issues, not causing damage, and keeping my word..

I also just see it as a decision juncture, bad cops & legalists are
like silly Faeries, I have to decide if I want to humor them politely,
or run them off scattering in fear.. theyre often so obviously
fruity & mentally fermented on their own power trips..

everybody dies... I fear an improper life, more than I fear a good
death... wouldnt want anyone to be able to think that I did any more
than absolute minimum for the Beast ... its one of the reasons I live
in the brush.. It prevents fatal confrontations with neo Nazis in
official jackboots...

and allows me to live in ways that dont feed the collective monster,
anything but bad tasting medicine...

laws are nothing.. All boils down to what one will put up with.. I
can play "lets pretend" too, but I know government to be nothing more
than the current Mafia in assention... just big Rats in suits & ties,
with a line of shit, and a habit of abusing people to get their way...

their official purposes seem almost vestigial these days... if you
want to know what a department really isnt about, read its name...

morning, waking up, sipping coffee, got a small fire going.. content
being who I am..

a final word on laws, theyre for people who need them.. I've
occasionally needed a law or two.. Both ends of the dichotomy.. but
mostly I experienced law being non apparent when I was doing misdeeds,
and disfunctional when I was attempting to prevent or discontinue the
misdeeds of others... the only time I've ever seen law arrive on the
scene, was either random revenue enhancement,

continued..

Continued blog....

Yeah,
folks, youre actually going to have to do something...
Quit relying on liars, quit believing their shit, quit using their
products, quit giving them your money, and quit giving them your kids
to twist & pervert... And use for cannon fodder in their wars to kill
off poor people sitting on top of resources...

Brother Joe has it right.. Get low, get self sufficient, get humble...

quit showing up in churches that do nothing but stuff your head with
misinterpretations or worse..

get rid of your TV... make your own music, grow your own food..
Barter, keep your word, have nothing to do with liars, clean up your
own act....

help each other, and quit expecting government to do everything for
you... Before this is all over, youre going to likely have to defend
your rights & property to the death.. Might want to get prepared to do
that... Those SWAT teams will soon lose their excess balls if every
house they kick the door in on, sends a good portion of their number
into hell...

its all about ego trips, and government that was once considered a
necesary evil, now being considered an unnecesary evil...

we have the technology, we can grow food and make things small scale,
cottage industries etc..

quit eating poisoned food, get a small tractor or tiller, get on your
knees in the dirt....

get out of the offices... how can you expect change from just
bitching and sniveling to the status quo? Bet they love that..

gotta actually do it.. use the available tech to free yourselves from
the corrupt and absolute crooked system on all levels..

its all available, from small scale Agricultural equipment... To semi
auto arms & ammo... we dont need to be governed, we need to govern
ourselves.. We dont need banks, we need to live within our own
means...
We dont need the bleeping police.. Call 911? Waste of time, hot lead
will take care of thieves large & small... Rather permanently too!

grow some hair on your chest... Have some balls, theyre not there for
the government to fondle affectionantly...

quit flying, I love flying & travel, but not if it means caving in to
tyranny.. I'll walk, and travel light enough I can get out and run,
or I'll travel in the brush... they wont like that... if people
quit using their roads, their gas, their jobs, their system...

join up, group up, cooperate, get off your egotrip, and get real with
other like minded people... Become free men & women in your own minds
& actions, no matter what it takes... They herd you by your petty
fears... they have no monoply on anything... but they sure have you
convinced they do.. grow some teeth.. Rewild yourselves.. protect
your kids from the worse than worthless bastards..
Faggots in business suits... running your lives for their own
benefit... Got you convinced you need all their shit... Grow some corn
that aint GMO, enough you can live for years, and feed everyone around
you too.. start producing your own needs; food, shelter, clothing,
tools, arms... vote with your money.. Its harder to black box...

dont believe in the system, period.. Make every act & every decision
as if the system might collapse tomorrow, or the next day.. Money
invested in the system, or in gold etc. Is wasted preparedness, wasted
freedom, you wont need any of it if youre prepared... Get into
tangibles, stockpile stuff like the great depression survivors did...
save everything, use stuff up, make do, have some pride in your
ability to get by on less... quit being fat hogs for their
slaughter...

quit giving them your lives.. Take your freedom... You dont have to
kill anyone unless they insist on it.. Sell your robe, get a sword..
Live in a tent if thats what it takes..

get mobile, get militant.. Quit expecting the system to get fixed..
Only way to fix it, is fix your bleeping selves... get a real life..

get a horse, get a cart, get a tent, get a wood stove, get a hoe & an
axe.. you can buy everything you need to survive & prosper on a
couple three house payments to the Vampires...

the most important survival skill, is knowing how to work.. You get
there by growing some calluses on your hands actually doing
something.. anyone who talks about sports is a brain dead moron..
play baseball with your kids.. Thats all the sports you need to talk
about.. Take up sports like fishing, archery, shooting, hunting,
paintball, anything that adds to your survivability & independence..

fire crackers on 4th of july aint going to do it for you...

did Jefferson mention fire crackers?

did Washington scare the Redcoats with sparklers? Only when used to
touch off cannons...

read the foxfire books available in any library..

become a real American, not just an American in name only... get a
little indian blood... Get ready to fight some running battles like
Chief Joseph..

get your spiritual house in order... Die right... Die free, leave your
kids a legacy of freedom.... Give them a better example than American
Idol types kissing the system's butt in hopes of fame and fortune...

quit supporting politics... figure out how to pay the absolute least
taxes possible.. being unemployed is an opportunity, it means not
being anyone's slave..

it means you have time to plant some spuds & fruit trees...

utterly divorce yourselves from the status quo...

look at the world differently... wean yourselves from the big Mommy
teat... get your own milk cow..

anyway, I need to do some dishes, and cook some food..

good luck!

Monday, 4th of July, 2011......

Here I am, a couple thousand miles south of the family reunion...

I remember the last generation having a blacksheep too... Who didnt
show up at the reunions...

Well, I'm beyond Homeland Security & TSA's reach, cant get their
hands in my pants without a long walk, and plenty of border
crossings...

I hear about it on short wave, as close as I get...

Heard some Ad the other day mentioning Americans enjoying their
freedoms, and wondered if they were talking about sex starved TSA
types? Or their lonely housewives victims...

US.., is the only country on earth where the government thinks it
needs to fondle your gonads... why is that? Well because its the only
country on the planet where the people are stupid enough, & cowardly
enough to put up with it...

proof is in the pudding guys... are they, or are they not, rummaging
your sexual hardware & software?

how absurd... it needs to be made into a fairy tale, like some
Gullible's Travels adventure, where the hero goes to a land where the
government thinks its justifying its own existance, by starting to
do, what hookers have been doing for thousands of years...

makes one wonder if the Rumors about the Wicked Witch of the East,
and her friend O'Pumkin being more than a bit fruity are true?

who else would be twisted enough to think handling your privates was a
legitimate government service?

suprised they arent measuring them.. give a male and female
streeeetch test, and see how long John is, or what Jill can take for
bore size...

maybe stick it on your ID card chip, so everyone can compare numbers?
Wanger to Hueco ratio?

anyway, seems kind of silly to think everyone is taking revolution day
off... Must have forgotten what it was all about... you aint free...
Not even in your dreams...

theyve got you by the balls you silly morons..

I heard this guy on short wave last night.. "Brother Joe" out of New
York, Kirkwood... Does a radio show.. He's a Jesus freak, sounds like
a truck driver from NYC, I've been doing a bit of a study of short
wave preachers for several years, (you can tell I get bored) but in
my experience, he's been the most real, and of value..

lives in a trailer in the mountains, add on rooms, works toward self
sufficiency, being frugal etc.. No electricity or plumbing for 19
years..... Tries to warn people to get out of cities & towns...

a far cry from the TV evangelist type, siphoning money for their rich
lifestyle working God's flocks...

the Politicians of religion...

so, I appreciate Joe, sincere, may not know about book of Enoch, or
that JC is likely to show up in a rather large ship, but Joe has a
good handle on the rest of it... type of guy I'd want nearby if going
up the ramp... practical, and God fearing.. not too much vanity or
ego left... if I were the skygods, wouldnt be interested in
egotistical vanity head types... but somebody like joe would make a
good hand.. Street wise.. made it out of the city on his own steam,
and doing what he knows he should....

he was doing these voice things, of people in denial, who couldnt wrap
their mind around getting out of ground zero city.. it was pretty
good.. could imagine similar noises coming out of some readers of
this blog...

Joe has the right idea, get out of Babylon & get low... same thing
I've been saying for years..

I wish Joe & company well.. nice to hear some human decency on the
short wave...

anyway, I've been steadily working on electric guitar.. everyday seem
to learn some little thing that adds to my ability...

its been rainy here.. Hard to get into the garden, did get some Sagu
planted today...

so, nice to have the guitar to keep me feeling like I'm making progress..

its a bit different at a base level lifestyle.. I'm not on the go
constantly.. Would be food inefficient if nothing else.. the first
world life, is like being a power pig... plenty of Oink & Boink, but
it really doesnt make you any more alive, to eat perhaps 3x what I do
per day...

I like being relaxed... minimalism is very powerful.. The more
minimalistic you are, the more secure & happier you seem to be...

I might make $50 worth of progress a month.. sure seems better than
being under water & upside down on a house payment..

dont own a car.. its walk or ride the bus.. dont miss the insurance
payments.. Nor the job to pay for it all..

living minimalistically and working towards humility & preparedness
are satisfying..

I was thinking the other day, I wouldnt want what passes for a normal
life... dont need a big house to wander around in, I have outside...
Gris likes to play outside, more than in the house.. my shelter is
like my room, where I keep my toys & sleep at night.. gotta get me a
teddy bear, and life will get all better....

I think I have one working on me now... Female type bear, warm &
fuzzy... Getting insistant...

seems to have figured out that my straight foreward manner of speech,
has a higher truth ratio than the local ambient male babble...

we'll see, havent been able to run her off with the truth.. we'll see
where it goes.. I'm not too worried, lived alone so long I've almost
forgotten how miserable being married was...

almost... But not quite..

these days, I ponder human egocentric nature.. have realized theres
two levels; the social person level, and the hidden monster level..
And that Mr. Monster likes to hide in the blindspot of the mind...

Its why your shrink cant fix you.. He's got a monster too, just better
at hiding it, and worse at succumbing to its greed....

only way to fix your monster, is to realize what it is, by observing
your own thoughts, and tossing out the absurd, or lower motive
stuff...

the monster is really bad, always suggesting bazaar things... I've
gotten to the point I recognize him quickly, & laugh him back into his
dark corner... feel sorry for the folks who've let their psychic
monster run away with them...

all that time as a kid, being afraid of unknown monsters, and having
nightmares, and never figured out the monster wasnt under the bed, or
scratching at the window.. That he was inside my head with me!

so these days, I'm on the lookout for other people's monsters... If
mine is as bad as he seems, what is everybody else's like!? Mine I
can control or ignore.. other people's monster is more insidious...

another point that I've been thinking about, is how glad I am not to
be in the US... living alone in the jungle on a mountain in central
america is a dream in comparison...

I hear the people on short wave wringing their hands, & ringing their
congress whore to the techno fascist gods...

things get worse & worse, and still no sign of any guts... calling
congessman, bitching, non violent protests, etc. Add up to absolute
zero effect...

just put your complaint on the 3X5 card, side it into slot marked on
provided complaints box.. the Janitor will empty the box once a week,
and use the cards to light the fires in the morning down in the boiler
room, while you airheads are still on your way to work....

hey folks, until you actually get off your fat asses & actually do
something, things are actually going to keep getting worse..

youre a bunch of gripers who cant wipe their own asses...

all boils down to two choices;

1. Violent revolution.
2. Changing yourself.

violent revolution is bloody, ugly, & usually results in a new status
quo pretty much as bad or worse than the old one... are they any
freer in Egypt now? is Killing Kadafi going to make life instantly
better for Lybians? hog wash...

gotta change yourself.... quit niggering for the system, and stuffing
their toxic Mac Food into your gullet... gotta give up on the vanity,
gotta quit letting bankers suck your neck... gotta quit believing in
corrupt whores in DC, and their little big man Pimp/Prince fruit
cake, with the big voice, reading off a TV screen while he's on one..

Brother Joe has it right... gotta disconnect, gotta quit feeding the
big lie, gotta quit listening to your own monster... because the big
monster on the screen, is a shadow play of all the little monsters in
your boney lumpy hairy noggins...

get real, or die; nukes...

saturday 18th of June, 2011.....

morning,
home alone today.. pretty morning, sipping cafe, practiced guitar etc.

and pondering why people so lack a sense of us...

I think it defies ego.. so is a rare commodity..
Who can be one with anyone else? Who is into sharing these days? Who
cares about anyone but themselves?

I think we're really lost.. no real familys anymore, no real shared
adventures.. No horizons going to together..

just individual egos against the world.. With people only joining up
because of what they can get for themselves by being part of this or
that pack of Hyeenas...

I observe the monkeys.. theres alot of human traits in them.. They
have the social habits of the three stooges... humans are very much
like that, pushing each other in the face, trying to get the most
banana for themselves... When theres no shortage of bananas...

makes one appreciate days past, when people got together & shared
things.. Now sharing is an inconvienant expedient between seperate ego
trips... who looks forward to sharing a meal with family in these
times? they all want to stuff their faces, and run off to do their
own thing, with little apreciation of being together...

people more into social events as a parade of their vanities.. dogs
are better company, and I feel like a dog lost in a world of cats...

anyway, I hope you have a quality group experience going... And are
able to feel it..

the closest I get to it, is visiting my little niece.. playing with
her, the laughter & teasing, the sharing conversations.. she's still
really there.. Will look you in the eyes, delighted to tell you a
story, or listen to you...

I think being adult sucks... too self serious...
No sense of play.. no appreciation for the amazing miracles of
life... no sense of adventure, no feeling of happiness just being
together..

I still have the capacity.. Happy watching bugs...

I wonder what it will be like when the technocult goes down... like
some shipwrecked suvivors on a beach, really looking at each other for
the first time... realizing theres an us componant to the future..
Talking to find out who knows what?

where are we? Where do we go from here? What do we do first?

who are the natural leaders?

what is each of our parts from now on? who is going to join up in sub
groups with who? who needs to be avoided? Who is best not to listen
to?

a real assessment...

minus the social hierarchy.. Minus the falseness...

life seems to be a disaster we are unaware of...

I think we've been enticed into groups too big, artificial
constructs... no sense of the self in balance with those around us,
no sense of place.. We have no value other than to groups too big to
appreciate who we are, or what we add to the collective pot....

too many complications... too much going on... No focus on
fundamentals... No real need for each other... No love.. just me, me,
me....

we group up to acquire money, then split up to spend it on ourselves...

what will we do when there isnt any money? Nothing to buy? when we
find ourselves stranded on an island not visited by humans in
generations..

when theres just us, and a reality that is, like it or not....

does anyone have a knife? Any other tools? Is there a way to build fire?

what will it be like when the isolation of ego is broken?

I'd likely not be real happy to find myself on the desert island with
most people...

all they know is from TV... knowing stats from a sports team, or who
won a Grammy isnt really knowing anything of value pertaining to
living..

mental masturbators... no sense of even the fundamentals of life..
if they could make a computer fill in the blanks, & push a shopping
cart, theyre well adapted survivors in their own minds...

nothing without their beloved system...

pudgy morons, who'll look alot better thinner before their boughten
clothes wear out and they really have no pretenses left...

me?, I'd do fine even alone... I know how to peel & open a coconut
with minimal effort...
I generally carry a few tools.. I know how to make things from
available resources..

"Oh, I think I'll go for a walk.."

why? give them some time to think past stupid questions... give them
some time to realize what it really means.... let them think about
what they dont have any more..

in minutes I'd have a staff cut... in an hour I'd be fed... in a
day I'd have a shelter...

& I probably be looking for someplace nice to hang out, looking for
signs of water..

start making other tools for survival purposes, and likely content doing it...

if I'd had any warning, I'd be really well equipped..
I am a survivalist by nature... Its what I like best...
Nothing pleases me more than lack of bullshit...

I'd probably wander off from the group, and set up my camp.. Let them
have their soap opera...

While they debated the chances of rescue, I'd be enjoying the process
of bettering my situation, likely unconcerned with getting back to the
outside world.. I'd be curious about the fish on the reef... what
kind of plants on the island... How does the sky look? Will there be
rain soon?

to me the thoughts would be familiar & comfy.. No stress other than
getting a roof before it rained.. Simple task.. Gather up some sticks
and palm fronds, arrange properly, like a baboon building a nest...
And I'd know where I was, just by looking at the stars, knowing the
water temperature, seeing what kind of plants...

all arcane knowlege to the average city dweller.. Hardly a clue...
wouldnt know a fish trap from a deadfall...

Women more likely to have makeup & a credit card, than a pocket knife
or a lens...

might be fun.. observe their trips... would the socialists try to
convince me that my possessions were group property? would the
capitalists try to cheat me out of my things? would there be
politicians making speeches about the betterment of all?

I probably wouldnt notice, would be off doing the fundamentals.. Not
hearing their crap... I'd be on my way to fish roasting over a small
fire on sticks, sipping coconut water, gathering resources to upgrade
my materialism.. thinking about small projects...

I'm the guy, who carried a bag full of survival tools for years
everywhere I went.. crazy I know, but it was fun watching people's
reactions to a man with a heavy leather shoulder bag that bulged with
things that boggled airport security types in the old days before
they'd been hyped into insanity.. often carried rifle cases in
airports.. never thought of a terrorist act, not even once...

and every time I've been to sea, had a rather serious collection of
the basics with me... wouldnt consider going up a gang plank without
such stuff in my sea bag...

Do you suppose the women would be eyeing the men in a new light?
would the preditors be wondering if it was a good time to dump their
rich husband? cut her losses? Can always get half or better, if she
makes it back to a judge...

How long before the yuppie jock type would be thinking to take my
tools by force? would he expect an unpleasant suprise? Would he come
puffed up with physical authoritarianism? threaten me first to see if
I was going to be easy?

would they attempt a democracy, and a pseudo polite meeting? "we've
all decided.."

would there be anyone worth teaming up with? Or just a bunch of
useless social parasites, pretencious, & self important?

you dont suppose there would be any manipulator types do you?

looking for the meerest leverage..

well, this is kind of what we're all facing...

the Hyeenas have followed the Jackals into a trap..

but they way outnumber the jackals... looks like carnage ahead if
they all dont wake up suddenly... And realize that none of their
assumptions are going to apply...

Its a big island... Safety in numbers is a myth...

safety in solitude is more real... To be apart from the group thinks..
To not be caught up in who's who etc....

I suspect I'd try to help others.. But I doubt I'd like most of them
until they started getting real....

anyway, thats where we are collectively... A few are preparing, but
even fewer likely have a grasp on how bad things are going to get if
they keep supporting the system...

fatal ego..
