thinking about various issues...
one was a program I heard on short wave, called QSO radio, for hams
and wannabees, I fit into the latter catagorie....
I've been into radio since I was a kid, was a communications
specialist in the military, because I liked radio, and for years
have wanted to get into HAM radio, but always have lacked something..
usually money.... Usually access to the outside world.... usually
help that got me anywhere......
and now for years, I have gotten to do more thinking than getting
anywhere.... but being not as stupid as I could be I've used the
time, thinking, and decided I wanted to focus on low power comms,
simple gear, CW, and digital....
and come to find out on radio program last night, those areas have
become very popular, and plenty of goodies available.... and now I
have this hand held device, I can do some searching on line, but not
what you'd consider normal due to local limits imposed by ICE the
telecom monopoly here, and also my own limits of knowledge, and not
having anyone who can teach me the fundamentals, or help me get shit
to work...
The other day I was searching radio info, and had no problems
w/websites, I suspect that professional & hobbiest communicators in
radio are less likely to over load their websites with crap... no
sign in, every thing worked, my only complaint, is that the scanned
document pages cant be read on a hand held device, they all were done
for people who had computers w/full sized screens, so stuff was just
scanned, with no attention to filling the screen, so w/my hand held
device I see a postage stamp in the middle of a blank page, and not
enough zoom to be able to read it... problem could be easily cured by
laying scanned documents on their side, and having them fill the
screen... Instead, its wasted screen, and illegible documents, due to
poeple once again assuming everybody has everything, just because they
do...
anyway it was refreshing just to be able to access sites with out a
bunch of assinine sign in procedures asking questions I havent a clue
what they are about, and the ones I do understand are none of their
fucking business, etc. just because some computer nerd thought he
was being a big shot by creating impediments and cluttering pages
w/crap...
simplify.... Always simplify....
keep it simple stupid!
I hear people on short wave complain about similar issues, that
the nerds are constantly changing shit for no apparant reason, other
than job justification for self... I suggest to owners of companies
etc. That they INSIST.. On simplification, and unemploy as many
computer nerds as possible, so their services become more
competitive, streamlined, and timely....
what we have is a bunch of spoiled nose pickers causing problems for
common folk, and thinking they are elite nobility....
off with their heads!
anyway, once again screwed by other people's half assed shit
combined w/3rd world limits.....
we shall see what the future brings....
I notice that people have more time to play video games, and surf the
web for crap than do anything meaningful...
the internet is like the city dump..... you may find treasure, but
most of the stuff is garbage, and the place is over run with
rats......
also thinking about my steel bow project this morning, how to do
next steps, and what they are... got serious amounts of gnawing to
do before it's finished, but the world hasnt ended yet, so maybe
I'll have time? one thing I notice about my own style of survivalism,
is due to lacking money, help, comms, and access to stores etc.
i've had to do most things over long periods of time, on a shoestring
etc. but I have managed to salt my personal habits with some good...
I try to give things priority to being able to do technocult dependent
works first... I literally DO NOT assume the world will be there
tomorrow, so on projects like the bow, any thing that needs something
from the technocult gets done first, and the rest sails aft.....
its been a good little strange paranoid habit to pick up...
so, I want to get all the power tool steps out of the way... never
mind that I have generator gas to do it, the mental habit still
pushes me... finish shit requiring technology first!
I plan on building an arrow rest that will work for either natural
fletch (feathers)or plastic vanes...
reason is lack of accesses to resources, cant go online w/a credit
card and buy stuff, and have it sent to my house, when I have no
credit card, my visa debit card is limited to working in Costa Rata,
my online is a handheld device, and anything going thru the post
office runs the gauntlet of thieves, from postal workers to
customs...
you literally cant get a catalog thru.... and anything over a kilo
gets snagged by customs and taxed for between 30%-100% of value....
not like sales tax, its the 30%-100% etc. You pay....
& You have to take a bus to get to the customs office...
which is one of the reasons this country sucks...
Its great if you like living at stone age levels, while there is a
city full of useless drones living fat in the capitol.... you'll all
understand better in a few years, when your reality gets degraded
enough to be similar, by the sucking control freaks in the fascist
elite.... my advice, is declare open season now, there is no
shortage, when there is a lessening of their numbers, I suggest
putting a bounty on them to finish them off as efficiently as
possible...
the only viable permanent cure for greed head control freaks and
intellectual snobs, is genetic editing.....
exactly what the sky gods of the bible will do on arrival, read it
for yourself, thats what its all about, a mop up operation after the
big pricks trash the planet & humanity with their grand egos...
and I dont think applying a carbon tax will save them.... tax
collectors get plenty of bad press in the bible.... and Jesus's
parable about Caesar's coin, was dont use the money system.. & not;
you are supposed to pay taxes....
anyway, arrow rest will be made of tooth brushes... the handles
removed, and brushes inlaid into the riser...
this way, I can cut up plastic bottles and make vanes for the
arrows... making things in a third world country is like trying to
make things in prison... its creativity and adaptation to existing
resources that counts....
alot on short wave these days about genocide, eugenics etc.... the
elite killing off people thinking thats the path to the future for
themselves....
people are figuring it out, the backlash will be ugly, and cure the
real problem which is and always has been the greed, lies, &
manipulations...

learn the hard way, learn good..
I think people who have survived a nuclear war, a mega quake, and the
trashing of their planet by total shitheads, wont bother with trials
for anyone suspected of greed or politics.... both will be capital
offenses at the village level.....
basicaly what the ranchers/skygods are is the galactics... they seed
and weed and harvest planets.... and when its all over, there will
only be good boyscouts left..... everyone else will be dead......
so choose your team, join up with the status quo, or join the
resistance.... status quo is headed for certain anialation... The
resistance is the only valid hope...
vanity or sanity, it's that simple....
THE WAY TO WIN THE BATTLE ISNT TO JUST PUBLICIZE THE ARROGANCE OF THE
ELITE, IT'S TO PUBLICIZE SOLLUTIONS THEY HAVE OVERLOOKED IN THEIR
VANITY......
