Blog entry; Monday 12 October 2009..................

Morning, just after midnight, woke rested, not unusual when you get
plenty of sleep...

listened to short wave last night, caught WBCQ, and a program called;
The last round up.

it generally tends to be a right of center political commentary.

there is one feature on the program by a guy from wisconsin.... last
night he reported on gardening, and gave out some info on gardening in
Russia....

Seems there has been a very serious back to the land movement going on
there, with people aquiring land by any way they can, including
several families joining up, and either working in their gardens on
days off from work in the city, or moving out onto it...

He gave an interesting statistic, that over half of Russia's domestic
food output now comes from gardens, which is staggering to
comprehend...

I knew Russia was imploding culturally, that Moscow is pretty much
its economic focus, and the rest going back to people living in holes
in the forest growing potatoes as I heard it described years ago, but
I never imagined it had gone as far as it evedently has....

But it makes sense, the Elite of Moscow are focused on money, glitter,
power, and the rest of the world's largest country has been left to
the dogs...

Well seems the common folk have begun pulling off a serious miracle
in small scale agriculture....

Makes sense if you think about, that after the collapse of the USSR,
people went thru very hard times, and it once again got down to a
pretty much barter economy for awhile....

what this means to me, is as the technocult collapses, thru the
consolidation of power, corruption, etc. there is an ongoing trend of
back to the landerism....

The US is on the same Road, albeit 20 years behind, and most of last
night's commentary from Wisconsin was encouraging americans to get off
their duffs, and catch up with the russians etc.
Including some rosey prose about getting one with nature etc. That
would have impressed left wing 70's era hippies with it's flowery
nature lover/tree hugger mentality.....

Not bad! the right wing is going organic minded rapidly, hates the
establishment, smokes pot, and listens to Emmy Lou, & Bonnie, and
spouts stuff that makes this neoindigenous spud head boggle over the
apparent changes since the days of the Merl Haggard wannabees bad
mouthing most of the above....

What it means to me, is what I see needs to happen, is now happening....

in other words, as the Illuminati bankers/mega thieves steal all the
money, the people are learning how to not need it anyway... and if
one projects the trend out far enough, the diminishing point on the
horizon has it where the status quo loses power totally, because
everybody left their crooked system....

this all sounds familiar to me, sounds like many of my sermons in this blog....

So folks..... Evidently we are once again behind the Russians in a
Space Race.... this time it isn't Sputnick, its "Spudnic", i.e.
the ex-commies are out to get all the potatoe salad at the company
picnic, and if we dont launch our own Garden Space program, we may be
left with the wierd stuff at the pot luck, and not much of it....

I suggest if youre going to be naieve enough to call your congress
condor, that you suggest legislation to give the Blacks reparations
in the form of public land and a mule, and while they are at it,
include the rest of us rainbow niggers in the deal, so we can catch
up with the Reds going Green...

the US economy is about to crash, as any with half a brain can see...
while those with less than half a brain seem to be the causative
factor... i.e. govt. & the Fascists Corporations... and the quicker
people get land the softer the crash.... and another era of
Homesteading public lands sure couldn't hurt the economy or the
construction industry...

I would suggest though throwing out the current style of building
department, and replacing inspectors and rules about electrical
installations and not using used lumber etc. with a new building
department put under the agricultural/home extension folks teaching on
line classes in solar panels, and safe nail pulling habits, and
perhaps encourage some of the TV remodeling programs to do house
demolition and used lumber etc. Reconstruction onto rural lands....

I also suggest they avoid house moving... i've seen it done, it never
works well as the house gets twisted around in the jacking and moving
process, and what you end up with is a new foungation and an old house
thats been thru the equivilant of a Richter 8 quake setting on it...
much better to totally and carefully disassemble and rebuild by just
recycling the materials carefully...

I suspect some enterprising inventor type could even do well with a
system to saw up continuous concrete foundatins into sections, move
them with front loader tractors and flatbed trucks, and relay the
sections, level, true, and add a steel strap system, to replace the
integrity of the chopsawed rebar in the sectionalized foundation... If
properly designed, it could be inheriently flexible enough to be
actually a better design for coming quakes etc.

I would also suggest an "abandoned housing act"

where any house left empty for more than 36 months becomes public
property and can be auctioned off for demolition/recycling, and the
empty lot becomes community garden space....

this would allow bean counters at banks to use some red ink, a pretty
color, remove the glut of burb housing on the market, and turn the
red ink black thru small housing loans to finance such projects......

I know a bit about construction, have a degree in Construction Tech.,
and worked in the field non stop thru the recession of the 80's in the
Eugene area, when most contractors crashed, or emmigrated to the
sunbelt...

They lacked creativity... self and friends adapted...
Not too good to dirty our hands doing dry rot repair, building garages
& decks, or setting modular/mobile housing..... so I made a good
living, learned alot, and had enough time to grow organic gardens
and teach my son to read at 3 years old, while everyone else went
bankrupt...

said son went on to become a university state champion, in another
more technical field, but has recently been doing very nice carpentry
work as a hobby.... in fact got an email from him yesterday about
cutting firewood and installing a fan in the fireplace insert.....
Things akin to what he saw dad doing as he grew up.....

I guess my exwife is now an urban gardner type....
And has realized chasing money gets you old and tired, and not very
many wild goo$e dinners...

which is kinda opposite of her snobbish headspace wanting to keep up
with the yuppie Jonses that led to the divorce....

yup, we all learn the slow, painful, hard way...

too late for her & me, long past the lawyers and lies and ripoff
stage, but she's keeping a friend of mine happy and vice versa, so
I'm fine with the post nuclear divorce transmorgrified family....

I dont have to put up with her shit & vice versa, so we are both happier....

anyway..... I'm happier knowing the Russians have had a secret
gardening program going, and knowing the Americans are jolting awake,
and booting up their own competing program.....

We'll see who is the first to garden on the lunar landscape left by
the military industrial complex after trashing the planet for fiat
currency, but the garden space race is definitly on.....

Now connect the dots with the neoindigenous movement in south
america... its all the same trip...

And I would suggest to the Indian government that they forestall
their big offensive against the Maoist small farmers, and perhaps
offer a cabinent position in a new back to the land/garden space race
movement, so India isnt left behind in the garden space race.... All
those poor farmers would be best used as instructors, earning decent
incomes, and helping urban folks learn how to grow food.... a much
better use for farmers, than bullet stoppers for the elite
corruption/military complex.....

could get hungry in India as the economy crashes.... and the elite
could find themselves in the toilet paper business with all their
Rupees......
